Why the hell did Jardine only get 25.000? Sure he did not win, but he did a whole lot better than everyone expected.

Yeah i thought he would get more than that considering he was a late replacement. perhaps he may have received more undisclosed.

I FEEL SORRY FOR FIGHTERS WHO ONLY EARN A COUPLE THOUSAND DOLLARS OR LESS. THIS IS EXPLOITATION. HOW WILL THEY PAY FOR THEIR CAMPS, TRAINERS, AND OTHER BILLS?

Jardine was 2-5 coming into the fight, it would be silly paying him more than 25k for a fight.

25k contract + 0$ for not winning = makes sense.

750.00 for Song?? He should just go to a subway with a hat and guitar, and it is likely he probably won't get punched in the face.

I seem to recall Diaz complaining right before this fight about being the most underpaid fighter in the business. Can't say I agree with him...

He said "I'm the most overworked, overtrained and underpaid fighter." But he did also say "I get way too much money but not enough." I just disregarded that comment because it sounded like his brain just stopped working temporarily when he said it.

O Mousasi getting paid A SHIT LOAD MORE than Keith Jardine when the fight ended as a DRAW wow i mean even Tatsuya got paid way more and he LOST the fight and got wrecked...but earns more money than someone who fought tough for all rounds and had 9 days to get ready for the fight and fight ended as a draw wow

Jardine made a fifth of what Gegard made, why? Jardine's a known fighter & then to have the match scored a draw.

I think they agreed to the pay before the fight. Jardine isn't complaining about his check, he's happy he isn't fighting for local shows now.

Jardine is definitely not complaining. If I'm not mistaking, Jardine didn't even get paid for his last fight after getting screwed over.

Mousasi probably makes as much as he does for just appearing, and like someone else said, it's based on contracts. Before his lose to King Mo, Mousasi was one of the biggest names outside of the UFC and still is, so in order for Strikeforce to get him, they had to put up a high dollar. Otherwise, they would have lost him at the time to the UFC. But I don't guess it really matters, because it's all pretty much together as of now.

they don't make money at all, compare to those boxing fighters, wow, those fighters works to damn hard, and sometimes they hurt by working so hard, and that's all they get.

I can't believe he only got paid $750, I think that is either a misprint or he will get more money in the locker room. Remember there is also sponsors. I refuse to believe he only made $750 for that fight in whole.

I think Col23 countered his own point by saying the word expectation, fighters get paid on expectation from their past showings and Jardine was expected to come in and get knocked out in the first round. I think 25k was more than enough.
