Strikeforce: Rockhold vs Jardine Weigh-In Video and Results
Posted on January 6, 2012, 07:44 PM by Trent ReinsmithStrikeforce will make its 2012 debut on Saturday from the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. The main event of the card will feature a Middleweight title bout as Luke Rockhold defends his title against Keith Jardine, who will be making his Middleweight debut on the card.
The fighters stepped on the scale earlier this evening at the HRH Lounge inside the Hard Rock.
The fighters will compete on Saturday, with the preliminary card beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET. The main card will begin at 10:00 p.m. ET. The preliminary card will be broadcast on SHO Extreme, while the main card will be on Showtime. The Showtime network is offering a free preview this weekend.

Jardine looks SHREDDED. I hope he can put up a good performance, win or lose. He is fun to watch.
holy shit this may be a good move for jardine he looks in alot better shape than rockhold but he's got alot of miles on him and a questionable chin
I cant tell if its Jardine thats in great shape or if its the toad behind him making him look good by comparison.
their bodyfat probably has like 1 or 2% in it. Rockhold's just taller and doesn't have a tan. I don't think he's in 'alot better shape'. Not to mention Rockhold's looks a lot less dehydrated than Jardine does, Rockhold's at a far more natural weight so he's likely to actually be the one with better cardio and more power.
I was thinking the same thing when I saw the photo. Jardine looks ready and willing. I hope that maybe Luke took the"Dean of Mean" lightly and didn't train as hard as he did for the Jacare fight.And the NEW Middleweight StrikeForce Champion....The DEAN of MEAN.....KEITH JARDINE!!!!!

Jardine does look great..........And he's going to get destroyed. He doesn't belong in this fight. Just my opinion.

In all fairness Rockhold didn't really deserve to fight Jacare; but he still beat him... So I wouldn't underestimate Jardine; he can beat anybody on a given night if he doesn't eat some hard punches lol.
lol, hope he isnt on winstrol, he has never had that kind of lean look before ever, and his skin should be looser from dropping the weight, jsut my 2 cents
His skin should be looser? He's been working with Mike Dolce for months. He had already began the test cut back when they asked him to fight Mousasi, which is why he said it would be his last fight at LHW.
Besides, I've never seen a fighter with loose skin after a weight cut. Aside from the obvious candidates, like Roy Nelson, who already had loose skin.

look i guess it WAS weak to say that, im just basing that comment off of my personal experiences with fast weight cuts, fast as in even 6 months. your skin doesnt just shrink, it takes a little bit more time for it to suck in to your muscles like that. ive recently cut 35 lbs in 4 months, and eat healthy and train everyday. i have looser skin than that and weigh 205 right now... maybe im just jealous
also basing that off of me seeing many people use the anabolic winstrol, and that is one of the main effects of what it does for you, tighten skin to lean muscle.
I always root for Alonzo Martinez, i watched one of his first fights live ( might of actually been his first fight ) He has a lot of heart.

Jardine is done. Although... who knows.
Jardine may look ripped, but he aways look drawn and too skinny. Rockhold looks to be the bigger of the two fighters, and definitely the more skilled as of now. I expect domination but we'll see. It seems like this card has every (of the few left) halfway decent fighter in Strikforce on it; I think that Woodley, Saffiedine, and maybe Lawler could compete in the UFC. It'll be interesting to see the Muay
Thai expertise of Lorenz Larkin as well.
Totally of topic but was there only room for 1 ring girl? By the way this one got downgraded from the UFC to Strikeforce.
