American Top Team fighter Tyron Woodley improved his undefeated record, this time victimizing Paul Daley as part of main card action at Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson.

Daley managed to stop the majority of Woodley's takedown attempts, but T-Wood still managed to get the action into his comfort zone on several occasions, which eventually was enough to get the victory. Another interesting this about this fight is that Woodley exchanged strikes with Daley, who is widely considered as the most dangerous striker in Welterweight division.

In the end, it's 29-28 in favor of Woodley on all scorecards, 2-1 in Rounds (3rd went to Paul Daley). Woodley is now 9-0 in MMA, and will be surely in the mix when Strikeforce decide on the identity of challengers for the vacant Strikeforce Welterweight title.

What a twat UR, yes UR correct that Dana White would be happy, but for all the wrong reasons's, smothering wrestling is just soooooo boring to watch, at least Daley wants to entertain.

That was not smothering wrestling. Woodley mixed it up and beat Daley at every range. That was an exciting fight if you were looking at the screen.

I wasn't surprised at all. I called Woodley to win because Daley is a bum. He has excellent striking but all you have to do to beat him is mix it up and wrestle with him. He is a kickboxer not an MMA fighter.

    agree 100%

i was getting so tired of the same bs over and over

if you can stand with him thats understandable

but if you are going to take him down at least try to finish

Ground and Pound , try submissions

that wrestlers mentally of just holding them down and stay still

until they try to get back just to again hold them down is so dumb

not to mention boring as hell!!

What Lay n Pray? Woodley was mixing it up and beating Dayley at every range! Kickboxers who don't know the other aspects of fighting should stay out of MMA. I too was impressed by Daley's progress but he is still way below well rounded and got out struck, out grappled and out fought.

its a strategy, he tries to stand with him but the main agenda is takedown

if you find it hard to swallow that wrestling is part of MMA its better to quit watching. If new rules will be implemented i hardly doubt it will, watch MMA again.

its up to the ufc and other mma organisations to change the rules and bring back the old pride yellow card rule.

it didn't happen in pride because of this and as a result the fights were all exciting

I really wanted Semtex to win. Woodleyw ould have beendestroyed by Diaz, he should be glad he jumped ship to UFC. Daley;s TDD has improved tenfold and looked great tonight, very impressive.
