Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum Highlights Video

The event was headlined by Alistair Overeem's Unanimous Decision victory in a controversial encounter against Fabricio Werdum, as Josh Barnett choked out Brett Rogers in the co-main event.
According to MMAJunkie.com, 7,639 fans attended the event for a $543,060 live gate.

- Overeem defeated Werdum via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) .
- Heavyweight Grand Prix Quarterfinal bout:
Josh Barnett vs.
Brett Rogers
- Barnett defeated Rogers via submission (arm triangle choke) at 1:17 of round 2.
- Lightweight bout:
K.J. Noons vs.
Jorge Masvidal
- Masvidal defeated Noons via unanimous decision (30–27, 30–27, 30–27).
- Heavyweight bout:
Daniel Cormier vs.
Jeff Monson
- Cormier defeated Monson via unanimous decision (30–27, 30–27, 30–27).
- Heavyweight bout:
Valentijn Overeem vs.
Chad Griggs
- Griggs defeated Overeem via TKO (strikes) at 2:08 of round 1. Overeem appeared to have tapped out, but the official announcement concluded it was a TKO victory.

Gesias Cavalcante vs.
Justin Wilcox
- Wilcox and Cavalcante fought to a no decision following an accidental eye poke at 0:31 in round 2.

Conor Heun vs.

- Catchweight bout (180 lb):
Nah-Shon Burrell vs.
Joe Ray

Cormier looked REALLY good....he seems like a very promising fighter
Agreed on Cormier..his stand up is totally improved and with that said, I don't know if many heavyweights can take him to the ground...unless he falls for the Werdum flop

I agree, and I thought Overeem lost on the stand up, only he connected more power punches...Werdum had too much respect for him.
