Strikeforce: Houston participants gathered at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas for the event's official Weigh-Ins. Middleweight and Light Heavyweight title fights combatants all made weight for their bouts, unlike KJ Noons, who was 1.25 pounds above the targeted 155 pounds for his bout against Jorge Gurgel. The Brazilian allowed the extra for KJ Noons, who escaped another weigh-in.
Former WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley met the scale at 246 pounds, while his opponent Chad Griggs was by almost 20 pounds lighter, weighing 228 pounds.
