Bounce back implies that he had a status and lost it... The hype wasn't actually based on anything he had done in a fight.

Maybe he rushed it? Maybe he wasn't ready for that level of competition yet? After all, it is still very early in his mma career right?

Like I've been saying... Lashley will never be a Brock.

I actually think Lashley might beat brock. I think Carwin would beat lashley and I also think in a rematch carwin would beat brock. Brock hasn't impressed me in any way other than he can take a punch.

i think you should grow up and forget about WWE and TNA just for 1 second and look at lesner's ground ability he controlled a top BJJ practitioner and KO'd him....sure his stand up isn't great...but he makes up for that with over powering ground game

So basically, you do not base any of your opinions on the actual fights then?

I do but only by observation like everyone did with Jose Aldo since there was a time he wasn't champ and yet they predicted he would defeat them. This fight is a step in the wrong direction in outcome but he showed to be dominant for most of the fight so in my opinion a stumble in his carreer. Brock did have agreat survival mode in the carwin fight and then he had to choke a kitten in the second round so it doesn't make me see an outstanding fighter.

When Bobby was in the FM position... did he advance or try any submissions? Nope... so why would you say he could beat Brock? Lashley gave up...

Just my opinion on the capabilities of each fighter by visual reference. Brock was manhandled and then was able to win because of his opponents exhaustion alone. I feel as do many that carwin is likely to win the next fight if he can pace himself. I don't think Lashley could weather Carwin but I feel he would be better than what carwin was like in the 2nd round. Only 1 guy has been brocks size in his fights and to me anyone his own size with decent skill will be a problem for him.

People hate on Lashley a lot because of his WWE past and the fac that he's a former steroid junkie. The fact of the matter is that he is a world-class wrestler who has a love of fighting and a will to compete. He just seems to need some guidance because the fights he's had have been against bunk opponents and he doesn't seem to be training with the right people or in the right way. A good management team needs to take him under their wing, get him training with a good camp and he has more potential than most.

I don't hate on Lashley because of the WWE history but with his style and muscle mass he is going to have a hard time fighting past the first round. I don't see lashley making the changes he needs if he is planning on going far in MMA.

shane carwin would murder bobby lashley..... lashley needs to work with cain so he can copy his cardio workouts.... he didnt look bad in this fight until the end... but if he carries on like this he will never be a top 20 heavyweight..... cain has great cardio standup and great wrestling... lashley just has great wrestling
