What should Strikeforce do?

We have heard Werdum ask for a rematch against Fedor and Coker suggest Fedor v. Overeem? or "Bigfoot" vs. Fedor and Werdum v. Overeem?

Can Strikeforce strike out with any card it puts up?

Let's look at it from the big picture. Face it Fedor is Fedor and we all know he has one fight left on his Strikeforce contract. Does it really matter who he fights? If he fights "Bigfoot", will MMA fans agree that is who he should fight? Recently, some MMA fans, including Dana White question Fedor's last 5 opponents he has faced since 2007. Should he get a match between Werdum and Overeem immediately? If Strikeforce puts him up against "Bigfoot" will MMA fans say "Here we go, Fedor is fighting nobody."

Regardless Fedor has still the "star power".

In Werdum case, he just beat the best fighter in the world. Now, according to Scott Coker, he may have to sit out if Strikeforce matches Overeem v. Fedor. He has already fought "Bigfoot", but could a possible rematch with Fedor v. Werdum be the answer for Strikeforce?

Now you have the Champion. Here he is back in America wanting to fight either Fedor or Werdum. If the Werdum v. Fedor rematch happens, he will have to sit. Is this fair for Overeem who has vowed to stay in the U.S to stay in fight in Strikeforce?

Strikeforce has many decisions to make. This is a great problem to have for Scott Coker. Whatever they do they need to make some snappy decisions to ease some MMA fans tensions. I don't think fight fans care who fights Fedor v. Werdum, Werdum v. Overeem, or Overeem v. Fedor. Strikeforce needs to strike now.

Who should fight next between Fedor, Werdum, Overeem, and "Bigfoot" Silva?

Werdum and Overeem. Fedor and Bigfoot. This is the most logical thing to do which is why it won't happen. This isn't the situation that will make the most money for SF and M1.

I agree. The money logic is Fedor vs. Overeem or Werdum. I just think people want to see Fedor fight Overeem or Werdum. The "Bigfoot" fight would make him lose more credibility. Strikefoce nees to make a decision quick I think.

I don't think Werdum beat the best fighter in the world. But it's a good article.

I just tried to think about Strikeforce. I know they are not the UFC, but they have some pretty good HW's. I think Coker has a easier decision now that Werdum has to have surgery on his elbow. Now it has to be Fedor v. Overeem.

Overeem V Werdum and Fedor V Bigfoot is definitely what SHOULD happen. Personally I don't think Fedor would be sandbagging Bigfoot. He proved himself by out boxing Arlovski. I would not be overly disappointed by a rematch between Fedor and Werdum though. The last fight was IMHO a fluke and I would like to see a redo at some point.

I would say that Fedor vs Overeem is more interesting fight. I want to see it. Overeem is more dangerous than Werdum. With Werdum, lets move on and come back to him later. Werdum can fight Arlovski for now. Bigfoot???

I just read on another site Werdum said he was going to have surgery on his elbow. It looks like Overeem v. Fedor. I think ROgers v. Bigfoot would be a good fight on the same card.
