Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery participants hit the scale at the event's official weigh-ins, for tonight's card at the Scottrade in St. Louis.

While some of the fighters missed a few pounds from their targeted weight, main eventers Alistair Overeem and "The Grim" Brett Rogers have successfully met the demands by tipping the scale at 253 and 264 pounds. Co-headliners Antonio Silva and the former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski confronted each other in a very intense staredown, promising a great bout in the Strikeforce Heavyweight division.

The event will air LIVE on Showtime at 10 pm ET/PT. Do not forget to join us at LowKick.com for the LIVE Play-by-Play commentary and discussion of the event.

Silva is about to renew his contract with UFC. But there were rumors going around that he was spending time talking with Strikeforce president , I guess it was true.

Arlovski has been tagged by the best ; Fedor, Rogers, etc. Any mortal would get bellied-up with that combo. Hell, Rogers has some mean dukes too, with that being said Arlovski has put down some heavies in his time also so give him his props. I haven't seen too much of Alistair, but I really don't need to cause Bret has some medicine for him.
