I spotted the combination! Yay for me! :)
Man Im so happy ! **** Toni and all the fedor s fans who didnt want to face the truth that fedor wasnt in his prime and that he was getting old.
Everytime people clicked weak on my comments about fedor , but today Werdum showed us the truth !
Hes not old. Many champs are in their prime at his age of 34. He is still prime Fedor but he just was beaten by a prime Werdum. Did you see Fedor being slow, run out of gas change up his tactics? He fought as always but was caught fair and square. He may come back or the competition going forward for the next few years will be better.
The truth is that Fedor made a mistake. What did you think of GSP V Serra I?
it was funny
"Weak".
He didnt give a clear response, but thats what I said earlier.... It didnt look like he was punched to the ground... I said maybe he did it on purpose and dropped to the ground. Although, admittedly, I was only kidding about the on purpose part, but its possible.
You were wrong and I schooled you as usual. Werdum did a brilliant job and the sub belongs in the top 3 all-time subs.
Werdum = BJJ LEGEND.
What are u talking about? You said something that had nothing to do with me or my comments, but rather made a general statement that anyone, including myself, would agree with to garner support and ur coveted "sharp" comments. "Schooled me?" I intellectually dwarf u!!
Fraud.
I think it's clear that Werdum got tagged, he got dropped (not knocked out, but dropped). It was nothing like the punches that JDS used to put him out. But, I think he did answer the question, his English just does not allow him to elaborate or clarify. I don't think he was claiming that he didn't get dropped, because he said he was training to pull guard. I'm sure he was training to pull guard, if he got tagged significantly, exactly as he did. He didn't try to hide it leading up to the fight "I have to take him to the ground", said it several times.
Did you have it picked in the first? I didn't. My money was on the submission, but I wouldn't have guessed within a minute. I also called the Cung Le fight, body kick. That spinning heel kick he does, landed right on the solarplexus, right on the floating rib, right on the liver, basically the most painful place you can get kicked aside from the balls. Have always loved watching him, wish he'd fight more often. If they announced tomorrow that he signed with the UFC and his first fight would be Nate, I would crap my pants jumping up and down.
It was basically the exact kick that I expected to end the fight. He's really proof that unorthodox kickers, like TKD kickers, are not currently exploiting their abilities or fighting up to their potential in the UFC. I always have my fingers crossed hoping that Stephan Bonner will throw some crazy wheel kick knockout. He could, he has the ability, but nobody ever does it. I expect kicking experts to really step it up in the near future in the sport.
StickinUrChick: In portuguese he said exactly the same you had said before. He hit the ground waiting Fedor and he wasn't really caught. If it's truth I don't know, but Werdum was fantastic on the ground. When it was translated, it wasnt clear....but you were right
Thanks... Guess I wasn't "schooled" after all.
Humbug.
Im glad that Fedor didnt loose to some jerk off, instead it was a well trained bjj fighter, Fedor made a mistake could have happened to anyone and it cost him, gladly Fabrico wants a rematch over a fight with Alistair, which shows how bad the SF organization is at laddering their fights.
That's what I was thinking, if he would have lost to Rogers (no offense big man) I would have lost my sh*t! But it was still the classic Fedor, fighting to the opponents advantage to challenge his own skills, for example, going to the ground with Nog and trading with Cro Cop. 1 and 1/2 losses (A cut isn't a lose) aren't gonna take Fedor's status away... Not in my book anyway!
MMAeveryDay ..... comeon are you serious... fedor thought Werdum was done!!! and like he always does :D he tried to finish the fight... Werdum did a good job of controlling Fedor with his hip in the guard and caught him in the triangle/arm bar.... Fedor got a little to agressive and Werdum caught him... If fedor wanted to challenge himself LOL he would have laid down on his back and asked Werdum to have a no Gi BJJ match........ The way your talking I could say Werdum challenged him self by throwing punchs at Fedor at the benning of the fight... when he could have easily submmited him ass we all just seen LOL now how ignorant is that
Yeah lets not get all giddy with the " Fedor is the man for challenging Werdum at his own game". He lost because he was over aggressive and jumped into a 2 time abu dhabi champs gaurd. That was not smart, but thats just how Fedor fights, only he got caught this time. Hopefully he doesn't call it quits, and comes back for the belt!
On a sidenote, Werdum was as gracious a winner as you could be. I'm sure he won a lot of people over with how he handled himself...class act!
Well put my good man....
I wasn't saying that he didn't get over aggressive and got caught, he could have been patient and stayed standing because it favors his style but went to the ground with Werdum knowing that it was the only way he could lose the fight. And as for Werdum challenging himself by trading about 4 punches with Fedor, fights don't start on the ground. Thanks for trying to make me sound like a jack-ass though!
werdum must be the number 1 p4p fighter in the world now yeah? hahahaha so happy fedor lost, finally shut all you nut huggers up. I was starting to get sick of it!
Fedor is GOD. You make me do this.
Fedor has always jumped into peoples guards in that same manner. He did it to Nog. It finally caught up to him. It proves that you can't always get away with doing stupid crap. Not even Fedor. They say you learn a lot from a loss but in this case I don't think it would matter. Fedor is getting to old for this. He isn't in great physical shape anything. If they fought again I think Fedor would win if he kept it standing, but I think they same thing would happen. Fedor would recklessly jump into Werdums guard just like he has always done.
You must think Fedor is stupid.
He won 10 years doing it. He's is going to do it again if he keeps fighting. He wasn't dumb when he won all those fights so I'm not so sure one loss would keep him from doing it again. Make sense? Don't choke me.
What a sad day..
Why is it sad? It will make Fedor better or he will fade away. We all die.
I think Werdum and his crew are gonna gang rape that woman at the end of the video
Such a sad day for the fedorites. Such a large number of "weak" clicks all done in vein!
lol werdum is hilarious. Theres no1 i would rather have seen beat fedor
I think in the rematch Wedum won't get so lucky with Fedor....
Correct me if im wrong :P
Wasn't a lucky submission, fedor over agressive, underestimated werdums ground game. From what I saw fedor looked great on his feet, very bouncy with quick hands. Bad game plan vs good game plan.
Are you ok dude? A lot of hostility for a legend and potential future legend.
Got to love Werdum! He is a cool ass dude!
If the lucky is a fight, it's this fight.. and sure, Werdum has play his life jolly. If will be a rematch so.. PLEASE, prepare a decent funeral for Fabricio..
Prototype? do you mean an example of a lucky guy? It was pure skill by the way and Fedor your idol has already told you this when interviewed. Fedor doesn't give excuses so why don't you be like him instead of speaking for him. Fedor is the man in mma but guys like you are his reproach.
