I respectfully disagree. Overeem's stand up is arguably much more effective than Dos Santos's and he is very good on the ground. Clearly, Werdum is the superior grappler but I don't think it is going to be enough.

First defense should be against Fedor before he gets any older.
Yes but only if Fedor gets in a couple of wins against guys like Mir, Carwin, Bigfoot, Werdum, Kharitonov etc first. Fedor is two BIG fights away from a title shot NOT including the fight with Hendo.
You can't just give it to Fedor for the sake of seeing the fight. If Fedor gets a UFC title shot , its because hes proved himself against UFC top contenders. The only scenario I could picture him getting an immediate title shot is if he had defeated Werdum.

I'm dutch and a big overeem fan, but this is gonna be his biggest test in mma so far, i'm expecting a W for overeem, but i also expect a war.
