    hes not the current champ over here? and tech not current champ anymore, cuz if hes fighting in strikeforce, he not the strikeforce champ yet

    if he wins, he has to be the top lightweight in the world. no more arguements about bj penn until they are able to settle it in the ring or cage.

    nah u cant say he's the best lightweight in the world.. Im not a "the ufc is the only organization with the best fighters" but if you think about it, he hasnt fought anyone in the UFC adn they have a very respectable Lightweight division. We just watched as Kenflo destroyed Gomi, a lightweight champ himself.. and BJ took kenflo out.I think this "best (insert weightclass here) in the world" arguements are essentially useless cuz until we get every fighter into a single organization, or the UFC starts co promoting, we will never truly know who the best in the world is becuz they havent fought the best around, as the best are scattered among organizations
