Aside from some slight shuffling in light of Alistair Overeem's removal from the card, Strikeforce's September 10th event has continued to take form in recent days with the confirmation of several exciting match-ups. Highlighting the stacked card will be the Heavyweight Grand Prix semfinal bouts, the first of which features Daniel Cormier, who steps in as an alternate for Overeem to take on Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva, while the other pits Josh Barnett against Sergei Kharitonov. Also lined-up is a Middleweight title clash between division Champion Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza and challenger Luke Rockhold and a Light Heavyweight showdown between former champ Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal and undefeated prospect Roger Gracie.

While a venue has not yet been selected for the still untitled event, all of the action will go down live Saturday, September 10th on Showtime.

Below is a look at the line-up as it stands now:

Middleweight Championship bout: Brazil Ronaldo Souza vs. United States Luke Rockhold

Heavyweight Grand Prix Semifinal bout: Brazil Antonio Silva vs. United States Daniel Cormier

Heavyweight Grand Prix Semifinal bout: Russia Sergei Kharitonov vs. United States Josh Barnett

Light Heavyweight bout: Brazil Roger Gracie vs. United States Muhammed Lawal

Lightweight bout: United States Josh Thomson vs. Venezuela Maximo Blanco

Welterweight bout: Brazil Evangelista Santos vs. Canada Jordan Mein

Light Heavyweight bout: United States Mike Kyle vs. Brazil Marcos Rogerio de Lima

besides removing Alistair Overeem, this looks like a good card, i hope they air the prelims on something like HDNet again.

the card is good but its really diff when overeem is in the tournament, he is the strikeforce champion and also considered as top5 probably top 3 or 4 for me.

you are correct he is the strikeforce CHAMPION!

and with him being the champ he shouldn't have been allowed in the tournament to begin with

look at all these names lined up to fight on the 10th it would be horrible to make them wait for the Reem.

Removing Reem makes more sense to me now after that 135 press conference, White said that the September date was set by Showtime so they can't change it n Reem wasn't physically ready to fight so they had to replace him which sucks but its understandable now

SICK card. Finally we get to see roger vs MO and blanco vs thomson should be a war! but Jacare needs to start getting better competition. If they cant find it in SF send him to UFC and let Kennedy be champ for a while then send him over too

Kennedy is a badass! Both in and out of the cage. True Patriot.

I thought that Cyborg pulled out of the Daley fight a couple of weeks ago. What happened? I thought he got injured.

Cormier is no joke. And he's confident, talented, and capable of beating the BigFoot. That is for sure, I just hope they don't lay all over each other. I'd like to see how BigFoot handles someone grounding and pounding on him; because I don't think Cormier is gonna try for a sub.

Looks like a great card. I'm excited to see Maximo fight as well as Jacare, Barnett and Sergei.

Ok now that's an awesome card. I'm going to have to go with Barnett, because he has great submissions and take downs, but Sergie has a punchers chance.

Im still baffled that Rockhold is getting a title shot! hasn't he been sidelined with injury after injury for a while? SF is a joke, anybody can get a title shot with them!get this promotion together and in order asap zuffa, geez!

they can do only some much with a limited roster. Hence they try to do co-promotions with Dream.

Wow when I first read the title to this article I was thinking there was no way this card could deliver after the Reem was removed, but now I see there are some good matchups here. I still think Cormier vs Silva isn't nearly as enticing as Reem vs. Silva, but with Roger Gracie vs. Lawal in there too it looks good.

Nobody is arguing about making this card, they just had to push reem vs bigfoot to a later date imo.

Gracie vs lawal & kharitonov vs barnett are the only intresting fights to me, hope barnett gets smacked, roided three times so it would serve him right.
