You clearly have never seen Mayhem before, he's always been "that guy" at least in some regards. This really shouldnt change anyones opinion of him.

once again,i think miller is taking way too much heat for the brawl.

yeah,he went into the cage and...well,i wouldnt say called him out,he just asked for a rematch as mayhems and shields last fight was against each other AND sheilds won the belt from him...they both won their fights so mayhem though it was his right for a rematch...you can understand this as it happens in other organisations where people call each other out but i dont think there was any malice aimed towards shields as you see shields tap mayhem on the chest and call him buddy...it wasnt untill gill pushed and threw a punch at mayhem that shields, the diaz bros. and around 10+ other guys pounded on mayhem...if you were in mayhem's position, wouldnt you fight back.

the diaz bros. are f'kin cowards man, stomping on mayhem...they should be repremanded, not mayhem.

I totally agree. Even if Miller was being a massive douche, that does not give people the right to beat him down. You get arrested for that. I have lost all respect for the getto ass Diaz bros and won't be watching any of their fights anymore.

what are u talking about u moron, saying 'wheres my rematch buddy' isnt running your mouth, yes he could have given him like another 20seconds on the mic before gettin in there, but he did NOT need to have 7 guys jump on him, i agree those diaz brothers are sneaky little pricks.. look what nick did at the hospital that time.. joe riggs i think, real ****in classy

he has a valid point, miller had no place inthe cage like, i mean shields won the biggest fight of his career. that said, what happened was over the top, if they had ignored him, miller would have looked like the worlds biggest douche, instead they've lined up a garuenteed fight against a diaz or a rematch wi shields

IMO the Melendez fight was the only one that was 1/2 decent, the brawl was entertaining, actually added to the card & woke everyone up after the lack luster fights.

Mayhem should have known what would happen as Coker said.

Go take your antidepressants and relax.

I'll be watching their next card & there will be a next card mark my words al you crybabies.

    scott coker neive and weak

Scott coker is a pussy. He is scarred to stand up to his fighters and keep things in line. This type of stuff would never fly in other organizations (ufc). He won't stand up to nick Diaz, He won't stand up to overeem, and he sure as hell wont stand up to fedor. Its easier for him to point the finger at mayhem then stand up to the real problems, the guys who jumped someone on national f-ing tv. instead he blames the guy who got jumped by six others. others that were not supposed to be in the cage either. Scott coker is a joke. Yes we need other organizations in mma, but not this. Coker is actually hurting the sport at this point, not helping it. Maybe he should take a more active role with his fighters instead of hiding in the back and this type of sh*t wouldn't happen. This guy makes me sick, he perpetuates the stereotype we have been working to shake. He pushes mma back not forward. Scott coker needs to grow a pair.

Still Coker looked a little disappointed with the card saying "we saw Jake Shields do his thing that he always does, you know work his jiu jitsu and his wrestling" - Meaning he wasn't entertaining. Which I don't agree I use to not like Shields but today he impressed me, he didn't submit Dan but not many have.

Coker seems like a real nice guy but how is it that he hadn't seen what had happened? Strikeforce will be real lucky if CBS continues to work with them. Imagine if this was Dana White.....

Everyone just started to act like thugs at the end. its stupid and gives MMA a horrible image to someone who was watching it the first time on FREE television. first impressions are the most important.

I watched the tape several times...mayhem maybe should not have gone into the cage, but on the tape you can see his body language that there was no malice intent to start anything.....Hoe many times has Nick Diaz gone into the cage to call out someone....I thought so

Now, Mayhem approaches Shield and simply askes for a rematch...

No sooner, do you see Melendez push Mayhem (in the real world it is simply assault when you shove, push, push someone) melendez was no where near to hear what was being said. It doesnt matter if Mayhem was interupting anyone in an interview. The point was that Melendez started pushing and of course the Diaz brother jumped on in...In my opinion, Melendez should be fined and suspended, Diaz brother should be fine and suspended also. You cant do anything to Mayhem because he was alone and didnt start anything. According to CA Penal code 415(3)) "Any person who uses offensive words in a public place which are inherently likely to provoke an immediate violent reaction". This was not the case with Mayhem, he was grinning and asking or his rematch. You cant do anything to mayhem because Diaz himself is notoroius for doing this exact thing of entering cages and challenging fighters anfter they have defended their belts. If I was CBS or NBC or whatever channel this was televised on, I would demand discipline and fines from the 3fighters in question.

Stand up and be a man Cocker.....

So Scott Coker doesnt even go into the ring, doesnt regulate who can go in a ring after the fight etc... I mean i can understand, go to a stand off in the ring but again act like a PROFESSIONAL. It just shows what kinda second rate athletes I think Strikeforce is enlisting. How many stand offs have we seen in the UFC after a fight. GSP and Dan Hardy, LEsnar and Carwin, even Rashad and Rampage didnt start a BS brawl.. cuz they are professionals. COME ON, you get paid to fight, start acting like your the best in the business, this is petty BS. This is supposed to be an organization, not a Fight Club in some dingy basement
