Scott Coker says Diaz vs Miller possible for 2011

In a recent interview with MMA Weekly, Strikeforce CEO, Scott Coker revealed he is definitely interesting in making a fight between Welterweight champ Nick Diaz and always entertaining Jason "Mayhem" Miller.
“It’s something that we’re definitely looking at. You have to look at it from all different angles. Would it be a fun fight to promote? Sure. I think we should wait until the beginning of the year, and let’s have another conversation on that because with Miller and Diaz I just couldn’t imagine the extra security that I’d probably need to get to make that fight happen.”
Scott Coker hinted that both men will probably have one more fight before they meet inside the cage:
“Nick, he could also fight some Catchweight fights. I think there’s some fights ahead of him that we would love to promote. He just came off a pretty brutal fight with K.J., so let him rest till the beginning of the year, and we can start having conversations about his next opponent, maybe the turning of 2011.
For Mayhem, we’ve got some great fights for him ahead. We’re going to promote all those fights. I saw him fight in Japan against Sakuraba, I was pretty impressed. I think he’s getting better and better with every fight.”

coker talks the same s**t at every interview "hey we gotta look at all the angles", "hey, would it be a fun fight to promote? well lets look at all the angles and find out"

I agree, in all of his interviews he gives unclear and undecided ans like most of the fighters...thats one of the reasons I like Dana, atleast he gives honest straight forward answers
Lol Coker can't do anything right...instead of making Noons vs Diaz they should have made Miller vs Diaz, they should have gotten Fedor an opponent by now, they should have made Melendez vs Alvarez by now, they don't even have anyone contenders in the MW division, nobody wants to fight Overeem for the title...SF is so messed up

Oh I forgot to mention that there even hasnt been a rumor of when Mousasi will fight again in SF...he's easily there top 5 most marketable and most talented fighter and yet he has no future opponent or no plan to fight yet
yea they need to bring back Mousasi ASAP. The guy could easily get the title back and hold both Dream and SF

By NOT putting the fight on now, is proof enough they"ll be around until it happens. If he was scared of folding, he'd put a rush on this.

These cards look pretty good to me. Diaz V Miller is a good match up but storyline isn't everything. Maybe he has some better ideas.

I gotta agree with the upcoming cards. I'm looking forward to seeing Zaromskis on the November card and I can't wait to see Alistair's brother, Valentijn and Paul Daley's debut. I'm kinda rooting for Scott Smith to pound him out, though!

This site was very much dead when it was first up; i didn't register until a few months back aswell, but that doesn't mean i've never seen the roots of this site.
It was pretty much pointless to register last year as the site looked like crap, was unpopular and didn't have these Rankings, Picks, Events etc.
Now its a different story and this is improving everyday. :D
