Appears to be watching his words now that Zuffa own the promotion. no longer does Coker say that the winner of the tournament will be the #1 heavyweight in the world, now he says will be the #1 heavyweight in Strikeforce

Yea, there are about four more posted under "Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum Pre-Fight Interviews." Also, his YouTube channel and website have additional footage. He used to be a pro-fighter as well.

Agreed ... he is just a shell of a man now.

If he didnt own so much stock in Strikeforce he would probably not be there right now. Dana will let Strikeforce die .. eventually .. and Coker will cease to have a job with Zuffa.

Remember what White said about the WEC?

It doesnt make good business sense to try and build two brands at the same time.

Before we all cry tears of sympathy for Scott Coker, bear in mind that as an owner of the company (which was bleeding cash) he made out very well financially with the UFC's purchase.

When the purchase was announced, I predicted that the UFC would eventually absorb Strikeforce, and I don't see anything changing that forecast. It is only a question of timing for legal and anti-trust reasons.

Merging the two promotion's heavyweight divisions will make the new UFC HW division one of the deepest, and many fans can't wait for that to happen. The great potential matchups are endless.

Sadly, it is so obvious in this interveiw that that Scott Coker has his hands and tongue tied by red tape and corporate America, Fxxx, love the idea of this tournament, just make it cut and dry, but as alway's it's alway's going to be about making money... again Fxxx
