Strikeforce: combatants Brett Rogers, Joey "Smokin" Villasenor and the knockout artist Antwain Britt, participated in an open workout in St. Louis, Missouri. Brett Rogers will headline the card, in his quest of taking the belt from the reigning Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem. Here is something for the statistics freaks: Brett Rogers, Antwain Britt and Joey Villasenor share 31 knockouts out of 48 career victories. In their combined 55 career fights, they went only 9 times to the judges score. I honestly can't see Rogers armbarring anybody outside training.

I completely agree.. And the technique on that arm bar is horrible, very sloppy.

It's too loose and distant from the opponent. I train 4 times a week and anyone I train with would get out of that soo fast.

It needs to be tighter, you have to be close to your opponents ball joint, (where his arm is attached to the body at the shoulder) so that you can manipulate it, the elbow is at the groin not the mid section where it should be, the knees aren't pinched, the back of the knee should line up with the face and it doesn't.

It's just all around bad and easy to reverse/escape.

I just realized that Villasenor reminds me of the late Diego Corrales.
