Knockout artists Antwain "The Juggernaut" Britt and the Black House product Rafael Calvacante will square off in the opening bout of Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery. Both fighters have a stunning record of 16 knockout victories (out of 19 combined victories), as this fight has a very slim chances to go to the decision.
The bout will take place in the rejuvenated Strikeforce Light Heavyweight division, as a winner could get himself into the mix for the shot at King Mo's newly won title.

They touch gloves and the fight is on. Both fighters are measuring the distance, as Rafael Cavalcante centers the cage. Britt is the first one to throw a powerful-looking combo. It looks too much for Cavalcante and he decides to clinch to the fence. Not much action at the fence and it is stand-up again. Britt is swinging at Cavalcante, who looks patient and manages to defend the strikes. Clinch at the fence again, Rafael looks more effective with dirty boxing and knees. The fighters are separated by the referee, and Rafael Cavalcante goes swinging! Hee sees an opening and he takes it, Antwain Britt is stunned by a powerful overhand and then knocked out! Impressive blitz by Rafael Cavalcante!
