South Korea changed the Balance of Power in Korean peninsula, adding the #3 P4P Ranked Fighter on LowKick.com Fedor Emelianenko to their arsenal. "The Last Emperor" arrived in South Korea four days ago, looking to improve his skills by working with the local Sambo practitioners and doing several seminars. More pictures and updates from Fedor's trip to South Korea can be found on his official Facebook page.

Meanwhile, M-1 Global Director of Operations Evgeni Kogan discussed several subjects related to Emelianenko's future in Strikeforce, speaking to FightNerd.com's Matthew Kaplowitz. Kogan revealed that M-1 will be looking to air four M-1 Challenge events in 2011 through Showtime, also describing the possibility of Fedor fighting in the earlier part of the year is "realistic". M-1 will present its long-anticipated Challenge 22 event on December 9th in Moscow, with Welterweight, Heavyweight and Middleweight titles on the line. And just like the previous event, M-1 Challenge 22 will be streamed for free on the internet (we'll post a link on LowKick one day before the event).

Never before has one company used one fighter with so much leverage. Without Fedor, M1 is nothing. They need to awknowledge that.

Actually, Vadim Finkelstein said not once that they do acknowledge that.

But something that you need to see also is that M-1 global puts on great shows and the fighters are always looking to make exciting fights. I watch the fights everytime I have the chance and it is hard to remember a single boring fight. Another thing that you should have in mind is that in Europe M-1 is more popular than in America...

unlikely he'll ever fight in the ufc. but there's still plenty of interesting matchups for him e.g. overeem, bogfoot silva, i'd even watch a rematch with werdum at this point. such a shame to see the most talented fighter of his generation not competing regularly.
