Fedor is a joke. He fluked most of his big wins in Pride. Was never a true champion IMO. He showed his true colours in his last two fights. He doesn't deserve all this publicity.

actually it just might be that fedor fans are way to over the top and can't handle the fact that not all people like fedor..now i am prepared for all the weaks this comment will get but i really don't give a shit..fedor doesn't appeal to everyone and when people post negative things about fedor, his "fans" take it to damn seriously and act like they were personally insulted..

actually, you posted that comment because you are a moron. of course people on an mma site would react this way to someone calling Fedor a joke. it's like saying Michael Jordan was no good at basketball or Tiger Woods couldn't play golf.

this has nothing at all to do with liking the guy or not. I'm not a fan of Anderson Silva but I would put him on top of my p4p list and gladly defend my decision. please, don't act all surprised from all the weaks that idiotic comment got.

I don't like Fedor. He is a religious nut. He is also one of the best fighters the world has ever seen and I find the lack of respect given him by the more ignorant "fans" of MMA offensive.

So you don't like the man based on his religion? His personal beliefs? Fedor has always seemed to me one of the most humble and respectable faces in MMA. Why is it necessary to insult him based on his religion?

Religion is not strictly personal. It is like a political affiliation in that it affects ones world view and some of the choices they make have effects well beyond the personal. Case in point, religious conservatives in this country. I do not respect people who make these decisions based on something that they are blindly devoted to on the basis of nothing. As a fighter I have nothing but respect for him.

What specifically has Fedor done to cause your dislike? It seems to me that you are criticizing something you don't understand. I am sure there are plenty of people around the world who are devoted to their religion that you would say is based on nothing. Who are you to decide that. Maybe it is actually a case of you being ignorant.

If being slammed on the back of your neck and turning it around and submitting the guy who did it to you is a fluke, then man, I don't know what I've been thinking all these years.

When practically every mixed martial artist calls Fedor one of the greatest, it means something. When professional fighters respect your achievements and record, it means something.

Come jump on my penis because you are clearly f'ed.

Lets suppose Fedor is very weak and the probability of each of his 15 hard wins is only 30%. So 0,3^15 = 0,00000001434. So 1: 69,6 mil is his probability to win 15 fights. O my God, he is the luckiest man on earth. Instead of fighting He should play in casino.

I agree with you on that Fedor was never a true champion. Dont know why everyone is talking sh*t about your statement. I can only say one thing, a true champion never ducks a oponent. When Cro Cop was in his prime, Fedor ducked him for years.

Owh yeah if someone here can give me three names of big shots that Fedor beat I'll shot my mouth. And i mean real names, real fights, fights where Fedor was obviously better a ko or something, not a unanimous descion. No names like Hearing or Japanese guys. Please give me those names if Fedor is a champion. Who has he beaten, who?

Mmafan, i got to agree with you.

Ever since fedor won the pride belt he ducked competition, when he couldn't duck anymore, he had a tough fight with rogers and yes than lost to two lesser names on paper.

He will never be champion again and imo he's the most overhyped fighter out there.

I'm just happy that we will find out within a year who the real hw champion in the world is.

Anyone who discredits Fedor really has sense of history or perspective. Crocop, Randleman, Noqueira, Coleman, Herring, Fujita, Schlit. All beaten by Fedor in their prime. The talent pool looked different back then and he beat many of the biggest names in the sport. True, times have changed but that happens in EVERY SINGLE PRO SPORT. Would Mickey Mantle or Joe Dimagio be as successful in MLB today with the styles they played with back in their day? Probably not. Would Gordy Howe be able to keep up with the current crop of significantly more athletic hockey players of today? Doubtful. The difference is that a fighters career is on a much more accelerated track than other pro athletes. They take more damage and they only compete a few times a year. One needs to look at their career as a whole before calling them purely a product of hype. Remember, Babe Ruth was a also an all time strike out king as well as the "Sultan of Swat". Fedor has had a very dominant career and has cemented his legendary status in my opinion. It is not uncommon for for once dominant athletes to slide before their time is up. Wayne Gretzky, Barry Sanders and Michael Jordan are the few examples of greats who got out before they could tarnish their legacy, but it is very hard for most to let go of thrill of competition. Chuck Liddel is a great example of this. I for one am hoping that Fedor makes a comeback and figures out a way to deal with the size disadvantage he has against the current HW's. His career has slid in the last two fights and some of his wins are voer less than top flight guys, but he still has 8 less losses and 12 more wins over Randy Couture, somebody that nobody seems to hesitate in calling a legend. And lets look at his last 5 shall we?

A loss (albeit entertaining) to Big Nog, a controversial win over Brandon Vera, a beat down of an over the hill-refused to evolve Mark Coleman, James Tony (right...), and a loss to Machida.

Now, I'm not saying that this was his legacy in these last 5, but I wouldnt discredit him on the basis of these bouts.

The same respect should be aplied to Fedor. Would Randy of done better against the size and skill of Big Foot? Maybe, maybe not. But Fedor just like Randy is more than deserving of our respect due to the great many things he has accomplished in this sport.

It could be the pictures. But he does look a bit slimmer. I'm thinking he'll come in at around 225-230. I think last time he fought he was around 233 but with more fat than usual. Last 2-3 fights he's been getting a little chubbier, but it does look like he trained well for this.

Damn you guys go nuts if start talking about fedor. You guys don't like if when people talk bad about fedor BUT you are the same guys that bad talk guys like Lesnar or rampage. I mean it's not like you know the guy and lets not forget this a site where you can speak your mind. So if mmafan wants to bad talk fedor, then who gives a damn.

I tell you one thing, I've never seen so many men bitch The way you guys do over another man who's not even that important.
