With this surprising statement, Lawal adds himself to the long line of challengers, which already includes Josh Barnett, Alistair Overeem and even Tim Sylvia.
King Mo is currently undefeated in his Mixed Martial Arts campaign (7-0), conquering the Strikeforce Light Heavyweight title after the Unanimous Decision victory against Gegard Mousasi at Strikeforce: Nashville. Lawal is one of the most decorated Wrestlers in MMA, with notable achievements in NCAA Division I and II, as well as in other various Wrestling competitions.

Every1 is pissed becuz fedor never fights. It makes no sense when people and I mean alot of people want to fight him you put them down.
Mouthy Mo forgot to mention that the one contract stipulation that he would require to beat Fedor is that Fedor has to agree to have both hands tied behind his back during the fight.
If you watch the stats Musassi kicked his ass his mother culdn't recognise him after that fight .Mo won with take downs this is not a wrestling .He needs a rematch with Musassi.Fedor will kill Mo any way

Why is everybody getting all upset? Sensitive bunch we have here. All the man was saying is that Fedor is the best and he believes he can beat the best. He said only he can beat himself. What do you want him to say? "Oh I am just in MMA because my friends dared me to try it. I dont really think I can beat the best guy or go anywhere."

fedor's the best but he is just a man. Ali was the greatest in his time and he lost his last few fights. if fedor loses to werdum( i don't think its gonna happen just saying if) he will still go down as the greatest champion of our era. No other fighter has at the top level have a record like his, but he will lose eventually, unless he retires before that happens of course.

i don't think Mo could beat fedor, but this is just because of his skill set. Sambo is much more like wrestling than BJJ,russia/eastern europe in general produce the worlds top olympic level wrestlers and many of them compete in combat sambo, fedor is used to beating really good world class wrestlers in a "mma" like martial art setting.
