Strikeforce Challengers 6 co-main eventers Karl Amoussou and Trevor Prangley discussed the disappointing outcome of their fight.

The highly-anticipated fight ended in controversy after the 37 year old Prangley accidentally poked Amoussou in the right eye, which led the referee to stop the bout at 4:14 minutes into the opening round, after the Frenchman declared that he cannot see.

Well I dunno....his eye looks perfectly find in the interview, and in the video it looks like Trevors finger barely touches his eye.

Karl came out all vicious and threw some good bombs, but Prangley took every shot and kept coming, then started landing shots and hurting Karl then came the eye poke (he claimed 2) I think Karl gave up.

    Prangley is a tough bastard.

Don't ever say you can't see unless you want the fight stopped. I've seen it happen 3 times now. If you say you can't see the ref/doctor will stop the fight. If you want to keep fighting you've got to say you're alright even if it is a lie.

Karl didn't even try to open his eye. Typically The doctor shines a light in the fighters eye to look for damage but he wanted out and didn't even give the doc a chance to.look. amoussou quit cause he wasn't hurting prangly at all.
