Jim Miller: I'm not afraid of going to the ground with Nate Diaz

"I'm a better wrestler than Cerrone and I'm not afraid to have him go to the ground with me. I think that was the biggest mistake that Cerrone made. He might have got caught if he did go to the ground but to knock somebody down and put them on the mat and not make them pay or hit the floor. If I can pick one of those things and knock him down, I'm gonna punish him for it." - Jim Miller, read the full interview at MMAMania.com.
UFC Lightweight contender Jim Miller spoke about his possible gameplan ahead of this Saturday's UFC on FOX 3 main event clash with Nate Diaz. Miller will look to get another victory on his record, after submitting Melving Guillard back in January. Victory over Nate Diaz could put improve Jim Miller's positions in hunt for a shot at the UFC Lightweight title, which will be on the line at UFC 150 clash between Ben Henderson and Frankie Edgar.

Dont have much to say, that I didnt say in the Nate/ Miller thread.
Hope the fight does go there as both of them are legit blackbelts and well rounded ones, they can do more than the usual blackbelt that seems to only go for the RNC.
This is sounding like a better fight every day.
Miller is right about Cerone.
He should have followed Nate to the ground and tried to pound him
Miller is a great fighter... But honestly, I see Cerrone whooping Miller any day of the week... Twice on Sunday.. Yet I agree with Miller.. The Cowboy should had followed Nate to the mat when he had the chance.. I mean he was getting destroyed on the feet..
Nate Diaz > Jim Miller
I hope so Bibi. Its exactly what Nick needs to see to get back in the mix.
At least we know Nick's cardio isnt going anywhere.I think Nate is farther along at his age than Nick was, but thats pretty normal since the sport has evolved while he was there.
Agree... I just hope Nate's wrestling skills have evolved well... Will find out tomorrow...
