Is Strikeforce really a joke?
Posted on August 21, 2010, 09:29 PM by mootsAnyone that thinks Strikeforce is a joke after Strikeforce Houston should re-evaluate what makes a joke. Strikeforce has built up some fighters which later lose: Mousasi, King Mo, Fedor, and Lashley. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that they are overrated or garbage. It simply means they were fighting the right caliber of opponents!
Strikeforce certainly isn't the UFC, but does that make them garbage? I don't think so. They put on entertaining fights and competitive matchups where there isn't simply a huge favorite smashing some poor sap. Strikeforce has been and will continue to be a non-UFC MMA organization that puts on entertaining fights.

their match up system is a joke imo...especially with the HWs
i dont think they are a joke but i do have doubts about their longevity. none of their major shows have been a fainacial succes and the average ufc fight night pulls better ratings than their cbs primetime fights. i hope they can pull through because mma needs a solid number two promotion and i dont see dream doing it anytime soon.
Their commentators and interviewers sure are. Terrible!
