"Not preparing to go to the decision"....Usually when fighters say that, they get KO'd and their original statement turns out to be true.

Babalu is a better fighter than lawler in every aspect except maybe wrestling. This should be a pretty easy rebound fight if Babalu can stop the hard-to-finish Lawler early and stay away from his KO power and cage control. BTW here's the vid of Babalu and Fedor they mentioned - http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xdf10_fedor-vs-renato-babalu-sobral-rings_sport

This will be a good fight, they're both impressive. But, despite the loss, I'd still rather see Melvin fight. Lawler's leg will be sore in this fight, because it probably still hurts from Melvin trying to break it off with those kicks. 9 times out 10, Manhoef would win against either of these two fighters.

He just needs to keep his hands up. Lawler can knock anybody out with one punch. It honestly seamed like somebody forgot to tell Melvin that. It was like he didn't know the kind of power behind Lawler's punching. If they fought again, Melvin would keep his hands up and win easily. He will probably never again in his entire MMA career get caught letting his hands hang like that. Lawler made an impression on him, figuratively and literally, and he won't ever forget it.

I like Babalu but he doesn't seem to fare too well against the very best strikers out there, everyone knows his game is get the fight to the ground however he can so he can use his jits to submit you, he's never really been considered a good striker and has problems when he can't get the fight to the ground when he's fighting a good striker. Lawler just happens to be one of those good strikers who has devastating one punch KO power in both hands but he also has a good sprawl and takedown defence, not the best but good enough. I think Robbie will stuff any takedown attempts and knock Babalu out....
