Hendo is a great fighter, and I agree that this is a perfect fight for him, he just needs to avoid giving Shields his neck and he should win this, and this fight will cement him as the n2 in the division.
shields is dangerous with his bjj!!! for sure hendo is the favorite but i dont think its a easy fight !!! if shields have a good chin and can take some ground and pound he have a chance for a submission!!! but in the stand up and in the clinch is hendo on another level!!
Definitely see Hendo taking this with a KO or general domination as long as the best Hendo turns up. He's been subbed by both Nogs, both arm bars but I don't see Shields getting to the same positions from which to apply those locks. Both Nogs are much bigger and stronger too and Hendo had some unreal sub escapes in the Big Nog fight. Another point is that Hendo has made very hard work of some opponents like Bustamante, Kondo who I actually think he lost against (see Pride NY Eve 2004) and Misaki. So in view of his whole career Hendo could have a tough challenge but considering his recent form he shouldn't have too much to worry about.
