Sounds like a great match-up. With SF just starting out and having pretty small divisions, this fight makes sense. Kyle is a huge LHW with good hands who just came really close to KOing a top 10 HW. I look forward to this fight.
I knew sombody would come with this arguement, but I bet you if they fought 10 more times, Gegard would win 9. Besides, even if Kink Mo is better, after that, WHO?
i think gegard should drop down to mw where he has a size advantage. he got outmuscled and outwrestled in the king mo fight. still a world class striker but i feel he'll always have issues against big wrestlers at 205
plus that would allow a rematch between him and jacare :D
Why? he's been doing great at LHW. He has also talked about going up to HW. He's still young, 25 at 6'1". He's got the frame to bulk up if he needs to. It's probably harder for him to drop to MW anyways. Only reason he got manhandle by Mo is because Mo is a good wrestler and GM isn't. He's been improving his wrestling. He also beat the crap out of Mo from the ground. He's got so much potential it's unthinkable.
