How is Shields the Favorite? I'm not saying he CAN'T win, but I haven't seen too many people say he can. Being the favorite means most people think that person will win. Personally, I think that it would be great if he won because then the UFC nutthuggers would realize that StrikeForce actually does have good fighters but I don't see Shields pulling it off. It's not impossible but I just don't see it.
I was just looking at the betting odds. I mean where else you get the idea of what people think the outcome of a sporting event would be. I personally don't care who wins, I just hope for a great fight.

I guess if the bookies have him as the favorite then from a betting standpoint he is technically the favorite. I am shocked to hear that is the case though.

Shields has a terrible chin and laughable striking in comparison to Hendo. Also, Hendo's right hand is an atomic bomb (see his Wandi or Bisping fights). I have no idea how Shields is going to get Hendo (a decorated wrestler) down to the mat. This fight will turn into a Hail Mary takedown match with shields getting punished with each failed takedown attempt..
That's great. Honestly, since it takes FOREVER to get a promotion with Rickson (ten year black belt is "fast"), I'm guessing this website won't be around by the time it happens. Good comment, though :)
Does it feel like to anyone else that Strikeforce is handing Jake to the wolves cause they are expecting him to jump to the UFC. Which is a good move on Jake's part i really want to see him against the WW in the UFC.
