i think fedor would take it, but its very open....overeems a brilliant striker but i cant see fedor getting knocked out...if fedor can get in overeems face and apply pressure den i see him getting the tko, but overeem could use his size to sink in that famous guillotine of his...id love to hear opinions on this

I agree. fedor in a way is the heavyweight version of shogun when it comes to agressiveness and pressure... and as we know Overeem had always problems in handling that... his k-1 standup skills its all good but in the end k-1 isnt mma... when fedor starts to throw his sledgehammer-overhands, even if he misses he immediatly goes in the clinch for the takedown, the interesting question or lets say key factor in this fight IMO will be whos better in the clinch

good call on the gouillotine though... that could get very dangerous for fedor, but as regarding the triangle of werdum, it's also a matter of sweat... if overeem can't lock it in early in the first round, i believe fedors sweaty round head and powerful neck will manage to slip out of every attempt

Fedor. After a couple of rounds wen both guys are busted up Fedor would catch Overeem with a big shot or a sub

I hope Fedor wins but I voted Overeem and I hope I am setting myself up for someone who voted Fedor to say ''I told you so''. Fedor is aggressive all right and that WAS Overeems weekess but he seems to be highly aggressive now himself. I think Overeem is a different fighter than I previously knew.

Fedor is declining from his prime (a lot of fans seem to be in denial about this) while Alistair has come into his. Alistair has better striking than Fedor and and probably is one of a very few MMA fighters that can seriously compete in the K1 tourney. As for wrestling

and the ground game, Fedor may have world class Sambo but, in his own style, I think Alistair is just as dangerous as Fedor in being able to submit someone or ground and pound them out.

The thing I really like about Alistair is his constant improvement, win or lose. His determination and dedication truly has made him one of the most dangerous fighters in the world. It's his time now. I'm very confident in my prediction that he will be the first "undisputed" MMA Heavy Weight Champion both outside the UFC and then inside the UFC.

    Fedor will win.

Overeem has no chin,The best thing that has happened to Fedor was losing. Now we are going to see a more destructive Fedor. It will be like awaking the beast!!!!

its hard to say we dont know what fedor is going to show up after his recent loss on the other hand we really dont have alot to judge overeem on at heavy weight. you have to suspect that his massive weight gain has affected his cardio to some degree something that was never his strong point to begin with.
