Fedor personally confimrs June return

Speaking via his official internet blog, The Last Emperor said:
"It has been a while since I have submitted a blog for you but I am back. Over the past few months I have been spending time with my family, traveling (we just came back from Japan with Marina and some friends), attending various events, and of course training.
Today I am happy to announce that I am going to fight Fabricio Werdum at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California on the 26th of June! The fight will be live on Showtime. I finally have a chance to stand across the cage from the man who beat my brother, and to make that loss right. I would also like to thank the people who take the time to email and send me messages. There are many, so my apologies if it takes me time to respond. All I want to do is to fight, and now I once again have that opportunity. My training continues and I look forward to the fight. I will keep you updated over the coming weeks. Fedor" As a man who needs no further introduction or description, Fedor will defend his WAMMA world heavyweight strap at the event which is expected to also feature Cung Le vs Scott Smith

I'm not sure Werdum is the right man for the job.

there is no debate than emelianenko is an amazing fighter, the only thing left to debate is, is he the best ever, and the only way we can find out is if he fights the best in the UFC. i think he may well be the best ever but he can never be called that unless he fights top 5 fighters.
when your opponents are the likes of mark hunt (record 5-6) and Choi Hong-man (record 2-3) you can be judged properly in the best ever debate.
If he didn't have the nogueira wins on his record it would look almost ordinary.
other than that the only impressive names are arlovski cro cop and coleman. victory over these guys hardly confirms him as the best ever.

I just want to see Fedor fight the best the world has to offer, like everyone else, that's all. It's common sense. It's a shame that money, politics, and all the other BS will most likely keep that from happening, and we probably won't see his true full potential before his career ends. I hope I am wrong.
It would be nice to see Fedor out cold on his back or atleast submitted, but Werdum is not the right man for the job.
