Don't be too sure. Nobody Silva has fought has even half of Cormier's wrestling credentials or ability. Cormier will definitely be able to dictate where the fight takes place. In addition, Mike Kyle showed that Silva struggles against smaller opponents who have better athleticism and speed, which Cormier certainly does. I see Cormier using his speed to outstrike Silva, sealing rounds with late takedowns, and pulling of the upset UD.
all Kyle showed was that a well timed punch can drop anyone. Fedor was smaller and more athletic too. He won the first round but we all saw what happened when Silva mounted him.
With all due respect to Fedor, he is not an olympic level wrestler. And thanks for reinforcing my point that smaller, more athletic HW's such as Kyle, Fedor, (and Cormier) outstrike Bigfoot.
Rooting for Cormier...He has the skill and heart to succeed where Fedor failed...That Cormier trains with the likes of Cain is a huge plus...Cain's training is ruthless, and he's the one who showed us after all that a 130'ish pounder can beat a big, bad dude--if he's well-prepared...
