Strikeforce Heavyweight GP Finalist Daniel Cormier looked back at his performance against Antonio Silva at last night's fight card in Cincinnati, Ohio. Cormier spoke about improving as a Mixed Martial Artist, and his future encounter vs. Josh Barnett in the tournament's final. Triumphant Cormier also revealed that he hurt (or even broke) his hand after delivering Antonio Silva his first knock down of the night, claiming that "Bigfoot" never recovered from that moment.

Hm, Cormier has done well, but to say he won't lose because no one in either organization can match him is pretty absurd. I guess we'll see how he fares against Barnett.

FEDOR should train with Cormier or Barnett. They both displayed unbelievable stand up in their fights. #RealTalk

Barnetts main gamplan is to take people down, dominate them and look for the submission though. Not sure he will be able to take down an olympic wrestler as easily as a striker in kharitinov...

He may not be the best heavyweight(yet) but he is by far the most improved and the hottest prospect. I mean cmon..he just knocked out one of the heads from Easter Island.

Fedor's build was way more intimidating when he was younger. He does remind me of a young Fedor in the sense that he is a really tiny HW who is starting to pick off some intimidating dudes. I think Barnett will take this but Cormier might just surprise me again.

Cormier looked awesome! He is deceptively fast in his stand-up, punches were so quick and solid. Thing that will make him so dangerous is when he has people rocked, he can defend the takedowns and sprawl like against the one silva shot, not giving opponents time to recover on the ground. After watching that fight, definatly backing him for the final against Barnett!

D.C's striking, wow. Dude has some HANDS! Silva was def on queer street after that first knock down. Also, didnt seem like D.C. had any issue dealing with the size and reach of Bigfoot. The Barnett fight is gonna be mucho sick.

Yes, Cormier reminds young Fedor. He did not make mistakes with Silva. He has a good future!

I can't wait until Cormier makes his way to the UFC. It's a matter of time.
