I don't think they could, especially if Mousasi decides to go to UFC when his contract is over this summer, if that happens SF won't really have anyone that good to carry the organization
i agree strikeforce basicly has all the fighters that couldnt make it in the UFC. Its sad to say it like that but its the truth like JOE RIGGS, JAY HERION, and many others....
ya, SF needs someone to carry the organization like UFC had Liddell and Couture and Pride had Wanderlei, Fedor and Sakuraba, WEC has Faber and Torres, if both Mousasi and Fedor leave SF no one is really left in SF to create a buzz and get people interested in SF events so, ya SF needs Fedor
Dont get me wrong Hendo and Mayhem are some of my faviorate fighters but you mean the person who lost the LHW and MW champ fights in the UFC, the person who got beat by GSP when GSP wasnt in his prime, the person who has no standup at all, and the person who got dominated by The Iceman twice and then became a champ in strikeforce hmmmmmm.
If fedor leaves Strikeforce is done. They may have other talent in other weight classes but no where near as good as the UFC. Strikeforce has Gilbert Melendez while UFC has BJ Penn, George Sotiropolous, Frankie Edgar, Gray Maynard Etc. U get my drift... Strikeforce has good talent but UFC has ten times more
UFC,WEC, and then Strikeforce. Of course they can survive, I think the real question is, can they compete financially with the leading organizations. They need more events on different dates then these top organizations and maybe try to scout more high level fighters. Oh, and advertisement is a plus!
lol, that was my first thought also, you dont see fedor in every show and they have a lot of good fighters anyway, and if M-1 splits Coker will not have to share the money with M-1, as we know M-1 wants 1/2 of everything they put their nose in.
Strikeforce has been around for years without Fedor, don't get me wrong I love Fedor, greatest fighter of all time, but its like saying the UFC would die if GSP left.
strikeforce was alive before fedor, so yes they will survive , but it prolly wont go the distance where they would like to take the organization too, without him
its POSSIBLE, key word possible. It would without a doubt crumble any possible Heavyweight bout that all were hoping for and leave that division in Limbo. But if they were able to sign another UFC fighter quickly that would resotre credentails of Strikeforce. We would lose out on Overreem vs Fedor, maybe Dan Henderson, Werdom, possible Bobby Lashley eventually. They should try and sign Josh Barnett if they can make it happen. The fact that they can dip into Dream's fight roster time to time makes it even better, making Unified champion bouts between both respected organizations. Everyone hates on Strikeforce but show patience, they are doing very well and things will get better in time as long as funds dont dry up
Of course it could. MMA fans are lookin for this sport to continue to grow. People still watched the last Strikeforce event and Fedor wasnt on the card. MMA needs to be like any other sport to have live MMA shows on TV every weekend!
It has for years. The biggest and the best organization was created without him. Fedor isn't even competing today, he's beating up bums in exhibition bouts that don't mean anything.
bro you don't now nothing about MMA you are the weakest link here that wuy you get the most weak i told you befor just listen to others and learn something
hey moko the only reason you guys weak all his comments is because you and everyone else thinks fedor is gods gift to mma which he isnt you would probably get down and suck fedors c0ck if was standing in front of you
you guys all hang off his nuts so bad and its pretty pathetic anytime anyone says something negative about the guy you all cry and b!tch lika a bunch of damn babys
Fedor is a great fighter,he however is not GOD. A god perhaps,And if he leaves Strike Force it will fold. Just like the last one did,and the one before that. He seems to be the God of killing promotions.

I think StrikeForce can definitely survive without Fedor. StrikeForce has several other top ranked fighters.

MMA fans know Fedor, they don't know much about the other guys signed to Strikeforce.

I'm not sure they will even survive with Fedor.
Well they'd survive, they just wouldn't be as popular
There's talk of Gegard leaving too though...so that sucks

yes, but only in Showtime and not CBS.

I doubt Strikeforce can survive with Fedor.
fedor isnt god ofcourse in can survive its fedor who needs to go away and take his cult i mean his fans with him
i really think there fighters wouldn't stand a chance in the UFC some might but not most. strike force is the rejects of the UFC
The question is can MMA survive without Fedor?
