According to Compustrike, the fight between Alistair Overeem and Fabricio Werdum could be a very close affair. Compustrike averages show that both men throw similiar amounts of strikes, with Overeem having a slight advantage. Reem has a higher accurancy and power percentage and even on the ground Alistair is the more agressive fighter. How will this all pan out tomorrow with the 2nd half of the Strikeforce World Heavyweight Grand Prix just around the corner?

We'll find out very soon, but for now visit our friends from Compustrike.com for all your MMA stat needs.

Key notes from both fighters:

Overeem was on the ground for 67% of his 8 fights

37 of Overreem's 50 landed strikes per fight (74%) came form the ground

Overeem was successful on 5 of 7 takedown attempts in their first fight

Overeem's opponents were successful on both their takedown attempts (Belfort was 2 for 2)

Overeem outlanded his opponents 72-8 in leg strikes

Werdum was on the feet for 69% of his 9 fights
