Actually, after he lost to Chuck he was KO'd by Jason Lambert. However, that didn't lead to his being cut from the UFC. The fight after Lambert was against David Heath at UFC 74 which he handily won by anaconda. However, he refused to release the choke when the ref stepped in, wanted to teach Heath a bit of respect for talking so much shit in the leadup to the fight and he put him right to sleep. Dana doesn't take too kindly to those sorts of post-bell cheap actions. Ask Paul Daley.

Babalu is probably still good enough to hang in the UFC. It's unfortunate that there's no one for him to fight in Strikeforce. This repeat issue is the same one I commented on in my disgust and disappointment in Mousasi for signing a longterm contract with this sideshow.

Well his last fight was a loss agaist mousasi and before that he had a 5 win streak, so maybe he's right, he should get more fights...

I think the reason he looked like that is because it seemed like he may have gotten teary eyed when he discussed supporting his family and the lack of fights. Maybe I am wrong but he seemed to get upset. I dont think it has much to do with his loss, I think it has more to do with the promotion. He is not the first SF fighter to express frustration with the lack of work....

i would be pissed too we've seen hershel walker fight we have seen bobby lashley fight twice and jose canseco singed and ready to fight but a year goes by and not one fight for a experinced and talented fighter one of the few that they have at 205. I love the fact that someone is giving the ufc some compettition but dont agree with a lot of their decisions and mangement. brett rogers loss = title shot only in strikeforce baby

Babalu's feelin' the effects of holdin' that choke on too long from his last UFC fight............Exiled forever.....Forced to fight in B- promotions for the rest of his career..........WAH.

I think babalu got his ass handed to him by Mosassi. Babalu needs to beat everyone before he starts talking smack....

I guess he is right,,,he should go to UFC so there will be more of a selection to get his ass kicked....

He already got destroyed by Mousassi, King Mo would be a challenge for him and Dan Henderson is almost guaranteed to go up to LHW so there is another challenge. I like Babalu but the truth is that he is a second tier fighter in Strikeforce or the UFC. For him to complain about a lack of competition is just silly.
