Mike Kyle was very close to shock the Mixed Martial Arts world, after dropping the Heavyweight contender Antonio "Big Foot" Silva in the First Round. Kyle's right hook dropped Antonio Silva like a sack of potatoes, but the "Bigfoot" somehow managed to survive the round, as Mike Kyle unleashed a rain of punches from the top.

Silva came refreshed to the Second Round, showing Mike Kyle a punching power of his own. Kyle quickly found himself on his back, defending a tight Anaconda Choke from Antonio Silva. He managed to impressively reverse the submission, but Silva followed him to a full guard, where Mike Kyle tasted the full power of the mythological Bigfoot. Silva unleashed a series of right hand punches which landed directly on Mike Kyle's side of the head, forcing the referee John McCarthy to stop the contest at 2:49 in Round 2.

Antonio Silva improves his record to 15-2, and now looks as a legit contender for the Strikeforce Heavyweight Title. Silva can definitely hold a punch, but will it be enough against the likes of Alistair Overeem and Fedor Emelianenko? We'll have to wait to find out.

Kyle did look really good but Silva showed great chin and composure in the first round. In the end Silva was just far to big for Kyle.
