This poll only fuels my inner rage I have towards M 1 Global. BOYCOTT M 1 Global. Now that Fedor is gone, there is no reason to even watch the scumbag led promotion!!!!!

It'd be nice if he could continue for his enjoyment but that will tarnish his legacy and become sad. He needs to stop for that reason.

No, i'm so glad we can stop this fake s..t now, please don't let it start again.

He isn't or ever will be a top 10 HW again.

And all this can picking is not just M1, it's fedor also, just frustrating to see one of the best, piss his legacy away since pride !

As I've mentioned in previous posts.... I've enjoyed his fights... but... I fully agree with you Nochoice. His last fight ...the "retirement" fight against Rizzo was a joke. Rizzo should have stepped out of the ring years ago. If you look at his competition over the years... he really wouldn't have lasted long in the UFC HW divsion.... he isn't as you said and hasn't been in the top 10 pound 4 pound fighters.

Bring on the "weaks" super fans.

Not in a past few years. But he's defiantly in the top 3 p4p of all time. I can see him beating majority of the top HW's at the moment. I can see him losing to Cain though, his top control is very good.

I actually disagree. Fedor is not what he used to be but he is still good enough to beat anybody if it is a good night for him. The only thing that has really changed is that some of these guys are good enough now that if it is a good night for them then they can beat him too. Werdum is climbing the UFC mountain pretty quickly but who here really thinks Fedor would lose that rematch?

    Werdum by submission

    Brett Rogers was a challenge

    Big Foot Silva smashed him..

    Fights a washed up Rizzo

BF Silva got destroyed by Cain and Daniel Cormier.

How can you see him beating the majority of HW's right now?

    In no particular order.....

    Daniel Cormier

    Cain

    JDS

    Cheick Kongo

    Barry

(maybe Mir if can avoid being hit LOL)

    Carwin

All IMO would put an ass kicking on Fedor... it wouldn't be a walk in the park for him like Rizzo.

Go back and look at the competition Fedor has had over the years.... he doesn't stack up.

Again.... bring on the "Weaks" but... there's a lot of truth in what I'm saying.... time to get over the hype.

I see the Big Foot fight as the end result of poor training and not having his head in the right place. If they were to fight again I guarantee that it would look like two totally different fighters. Also, rewatch the Brett Rogers fight. Brett gave Fedor no trouble. He landed one clean jab, held Fedor against the cage for a minute before getting tossed like a sack of kittens and landed a tiny bit of gnp. That accounts for maybe a minute or two of the fight. The rest of the fight was all Fedor. Werdum can only sub Fedor if he follows him to the ground. You would have to be stupid to think that would happen twice. If that rematch happened the safe money would be on Fedor via TKO.

HA! Just speaking the truth... sorry it hurts peoples feelings... but... look at who he fought over the years... http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Fedor-Emelianenko-1500 Where is the "Amazing" talent? Some contenders in there but, the majority were either circus freaks or past their prime.

Heading back to the mental ward.

Only in the UFC. People who have only watched the UFC have never head of this guy and there missing a huge part of MMA. Fedor was and still is a great fighter, if only his management team would have pulled there heads out of there asses.

UFC is not all in MMA....I dont give a shit if a fighter is in ucf or not...a good fighter is a good fighter even if just fight in the street...the thing is that all these kids commenting here and all blogs around...they think that ufc is all and thats just bullshit!!

I would love to see him continue but also only if it is in the UFC. While I agree with mark-renton that the UFC is not all of MMA (Todd Duffy would be a force in the UFC today if he kept his mouth shut and didn't lose due to a lucky punch thus giving DW an excuse to drop him), right now the majority of top HWs are there. Even if Fedor made it his mission to beat all the top 10 calibre fighters outside the UFC that would be what, 2-3 guys? If he is going to fight (he's not) I only want to see him fight top tier fighters.

UFC is not the only organisation but it is the largest, most televised highest paid one, so it is obviously is going to have the most talent. not all the best but most and how many times now are we going to see great fighters come over from other organisations and get smashed?

Fedor still could make a run at the title in the UFC but i honestly dont think he would beat any of the top 5.
