War Machine Goes North
Posted on July 1, 2010, 07:20 PM by HipHopMMAJohn Alessio will now be taking on future prison inmate War Machine on July 9th. John Alessio’s previously scheduled opponent Brad Blackburn withdrew from the fight due to an undisclosed injury and now War Machine will take his spot.
War Machine, who recently tweeted that he will have to spend a year in San Diego jail, will take on Canada’s Alessio at Tachi Palace Fights. Regardless of his legal problems, War Machine is a good opponent. He has six wins in his past seven fights including a victory over Guillaume De Lorenzi.
John Alessio. Canada’s number three ranked Welterweight comes into the fight with four consecutive wins including an impressive knockout of Luigi Fioravanti in the MFC last October.
If War Machine is cleared to Fight this will proove to be exciting!!!
