The problem with Mariusz is that he fights at Super-Heavyweight, he walks around at 325lbs or so, I dont see how he could make 265. Even for this fight, Tim's gonna be walking in at +300 himself.

I don't know man... I prefer technic over power any day, but it just seems like MMA is going in another direction with those huge non technical fighters. Can they be successful? YES. Sad but true.

Mariusz looks a bit heavy to be 265 or less, I really don't think with his size he will make weight at the heavyweight division. It looks like he should be superheavyweight or something.
I think Mariusz is going to destroy Sylvia if you ask me regardless of what weight he is in.
I also think Mariusz could get gased out easly with all his muscles, but i think he will still win.
I honestly think its really cool to have Mariusz in MMA. He doesnt have the skill yet, but in maybe a year or so he can get down with the basics. WIth that being said man it would be even cooler so him fight in the UFC if ¡he could make the wight, because if brock got on top of him he could just bench press him..........
most people here are quick to assume pud is not a tough man and not good in mma, the truth is the man has the strength of 6 men and he can break ppl with explosive attacks early in a fight,try to put this man in a kimura and he will laugh at you and crush you like a peanut, he is good for the sport alot of ppl will tune in to see him fight i know i will....he should of been on last seasons tuf,would of been better than wes sims

come on man, people don't write fighters off for the fun of it, they write themselves off with terrible performances just like Sylvia has, and he was never a dominant champion anyway, far from it, have you seen his fights? it doesn't sound like it. Also bieng the worlds strongest man doesn't automatically mean you will be an unstoppable MMA fighter. As bad and as glass jawed as Tim is i actually think he will beat Maruis as Marius has no technique whatsoever in any aspect of MMA fighting, or any experience, and bieng the size he is is no advantage in MMA apart from the obvious, the strength. I think this fight will be over pretty quickly but it wouldn't bother me if i missed it to be honest as neither are what i would call 'exciting' fighters......

Saying that though, i read an interview with pudz's boxing trainer earlier and he was saying that pudz's boxing is terrible both offensively and defensively and he can't throw a punch properly yet, he also said that he doesn't think Marius is ready to take a punch either so it's not a sure thing that he'll decimate Sylvia, mind you, all he has to do is find Tims chin just once and it'll be goodnight Vienna......
