CHICAGO, Ill. (September 6, 2011) — Spike.com, a leading destination for men on the web, will stream LIVE undercard fights throughout the 12-week season of Bellator Fighting Championship that begins Saturday, September 10. It was jointly announced today by Bellator Chairman & CEO Bjorn Rebney and Erik Flannigan, Executive Vice President, Digital Entertainment, MTV Networks Entertainment Group. This marks the first time Spike.com has streamed live mixed martial events.

Spike.com will stream Bellator’s live undercard fights each week from 7:00-9:00 p.m. ET/PT, leading into MTV2’s live coverage of the 5th season of Bellator Fighting Championships at 9 p.m. ET/PT. For the first time ever, Bellator will be simulcast in HD on EPIX.

“Fight fans have been coming to our site for years for great mixed martial arts clips and information,” said Flannigan. “Now we are thrilled to provide them with action-packed live fighting each week.”

“We are thrilled to join forces with Spike.com,” said Rebney. “The Spike brand is synonymous with mixed martial arts worldwide and is another member of the MTV family, who does an incredible job in resonating with the hard-to-reach 18-to-34-year-old male audience.”

is a good partnership Spike has had UFC and good fights ppl

already know about spike and MMA and Bellator is a great organization and is one of the places that bring up and comers to the exposure they need just like Friday Night fights did so this is awesome and whats great is that here where I live we've had a number of fight with Bellator and hope to get more they are fun to go to decent prices to

see really good fights...UFC is cool they have an insane show is amazing and fun with the DJ spinning music the atmosphere the ppl

it is an amazing show they put together of course thats why we pay

$120 for bottom dollar nose bleed seats but in all fairness with the screens and everything never a bad seat.....but Bellator at $150 for there highest is very reasonable and usually a good show.....

I hope it will become like the next Friday night fights and be able to see the next up and coming Champ from when he started and fights

when guys are just starting just getting there shot man they fight hard

its once they get to the top or high ranking they start over analyzing

and getting to in-dept instead of just going out and doing what got them there
