Return of the Bellator: "The Arm Collector" Giva Santana trains for Season Six (Photos)
Posted on March 8, 2012, 07:01 PM by Anton GurevichStrikeforce Women's Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is not the only "arm collector" in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. In fact, the Brazilian Middleweight phenom Givanildo Santana ripped off the arms of unfortunate victims inside the cage/ring years before Rousey made her professional debut.
Santana is currently 17-1 in his MMA career, with 1 KO/TKO and 15 Submission victories, 13 via armbar. Nicknamed "The Arm Collector", Giva Santana is expected to become one of the stars of Bellator's upcoming Season Six, which will debut this weekend with Bellator 60: Warren vs. Curran in Hammond, Indiana.
The Brazilian made his Bellator debut at Bellator 53, submitting Darryl Cobb via... yes, armbar. Santana, 3rd degree BJJ Black Belt, is currently on a six-fight winning streak, one TKO finish and five Submission victories.
Santana will return on March 16th, fighting the 12-0 Bruno Santos in the main card opener of Bellator 61. The event will take place at the Horseshoe Riverdome Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana, headlined by the rematch between Eric Prindle and Thiago Santos.

Why people tryna make jokes on this guy? He is a ****ing ANIMAL with one of the best ground games ive seen period. He trains with team oyama who produce some of the best north american thai boxers in the word. So just know what you're saying, cuz if he started an mma career earlier, he would be a top mma fighter. I firmly belive that.
