Quick Astra: Yoshida's Farewell Results

Judo and MMA legend Hidehiko Yoshida has officially retired from the sport, after losing a unanimous decision to the UFC veteran Kazuhiro Nakamura. Yoshida and Nakamura headlined the relatively stacked Astra event, held at the Nippon Budokan Arena in Tokyo.

Forty-year old Olympic Gold Medalist entertained the local crowd with an aggressive approach, but the judges decided that it was not enough and awarded Nakamura a clean Unanimous Decision 30-28, 30-28, 30-28. Hidehiko Yoshida's final record is 9 wins (Don Frye, Tank Abbott, Mark Hunt, Maurice Smith) and 8 losses (Cro Cop, Thompson, Barnett, Wanderlei Silva).
