Mixed Martial Arts fighter charged with second degree murder
Posted on August 14, 2010, 12:04 PM by bluntsandbeersEver since its beginning Mixed Martial Arts has improved in the public’s eye and became more acceptable year after year. But not everybody has a good grip on what is competition and what is brutality. The majority of people who criticize the sport know close to nothing about it and MMAs success is starting to silence critics worldwide. That’s why stories like these upset me the most.
On Thursday MMA fighter Jason Sindelar, was officially charged for the death of 26-year-old DeMario Reynolds. According to the police report the incident happened at the Luxor hotel-casino in June. Sindelar was drunk and was fighting with his girlfriend when Reynolds tried to break it up. Sindelar then went into a drunken rage and allegedly attacked Reynolds. Police records state that Reynolds tried to tell Sindelar he did not want to fight but Sindelar still proceeded to attack.
Sindelar started his MMA career in 2007. He lived in Gillette Wyoming and trained at the local MMA facility.
Things like these give MMA the wrong image and this clearly is a case of personal choice, I feel like it represents this amazing sport in a terrible way. Unfortunately things like these slow the progression of this sport.

If stories like this really upset you. Why are you passing it around online to promote it as a headline.Fueling unneeded fire represents this amazing sport in a terrible way. I have no idea who this guy is.
I don't think poster is the writer....
Wher the hell was roger huerta when the girl needed protection!!!!!!!!
maybe this dude played hockey, softball at one time.
There are no headlines that a former bowler went out and killed someone. People are always trying to associate violence with MMA, and it is almost the complete opposite.
what does the mma training has to do with this? i`ve known shit about people beating to death other people and they have nothing to do with mma
i agree with all you guys 100% lol, i just find stories and post it doesnt reflect my opinon. but we all know he media will eat this one up.
ooh 1 mma "fighter" out of 10.000 snaped again.. (his record is 0-1-0 = what a "mma professional") and everybody is talking shit about that. -mma fighters are brutal serial killers and raises the evil in the humanity- and all that shit.. :-S like playing computergames or shit like that...so what.. i think there are more soccerplayers and maybe schoolteachers arround the world that kill somebody or beat somebody to death than any person that is involved in fighting sports... ITS BULLSHIT!!!!
i even think training and deticating to a martial art calms you down alot!!
before i trained muay thai and boxing 3-4 times a week i was aggressive as hell and got involved in a lot of fights and brawls..
but now i am whay more calm and relaxed and i never been involved in these shit anymore...
Mental people do mental things.

You're an idiot, that was just a literal statement, not a joke. Jokes on you as you can't tell the difference. Don't think you quite understood how clever that point was, if I have to break it down I will. Just made it as snappy as is humanly possible, the point was to be simplistic. But if I have to explain it to you, I will. ; )
What's also funny is that you're making the exact same point in your post. Really, this is hilarious.
Wow, relax he was joking
Mental people do mental things. Meaning. He's didn't do it because he was an MMA fighter, or played violent Video Games or listened to Marilyn Manson OR EAT GERBER BABY FOOD *slaps head*. He did it because his mentality rules above all those possible influences.
Don't tell me to calm down Hankk, you clearly didn't get my point either. Otherwise you wouldn't be saying that. I'm not having someone call me simple joke or otherwise, then say exactly what I said directly after it like when they say it, it's clever, but when I say it, it's simple. Will rub people up the wrong way, ya know?
End of chat.
You're quite the keyboard warrior
... But oh well sorry if i harmed your feelings by just pointing out to you that the guy was only joking
yea...clever....LOL!!!
That really sucks that they associate the 2 but what can you do? Did it say how he killed him?
no, which i thought was weird.
They way they do that its like he killed him by triangle choke or armbar which I doubt.
actually.. he killed him by unanimous decision
