Titan I was just thinking that. I want to see this fight but there's no way I'm waking up AND paying for it. As much as I'm a fan of Fedor I think it's a Bad move putting it on PPV. It should be on Showtime at the least I don't see too many people paying for this card.

even worse, how does a guy that lost 3 straight force a championship fight into the co-main event slot

Yeah, like anyone but a very well-off guy would pay for this. Honestly, with all the free live streaming sites on the net, I can't remember the last time I paid to watch a UFC event. If I had the money I would, however. This will be on one of the many MMA livestreams for sure.

It's so obvious that Fedor's management had to handpick an opponent that he had at least a 90% chance of beating. He would be destroyed by the UFC HW divison- thos guys walk around at 300lbs. The days of the smaller HW's have more or less come to an end. Fedor should retire before he takes more beatings from the big boys. He had an amazing career, but it's time to get out with his name in tact.

Fedor came in at 238. If memory serves me right, JDS was about 240 mark, Cain at 250 ish. Please let me know what UFC HW's aside from Brock/Overeem/Carwin walk around at 300, and that's a maybe. Brock is probably around 280, Overeem seems to be in shape most of the time and is probably around 270 mark. These "new" breed heavyweight have not been doing all that great lately.

Sir, the current HW champ of the UFC, JDS, weighs about the same as Fedor. cAIN weighs under 240, as well. So, your statement regarding the "end" of the smaller HW's era is clearly INACCURATE.

Also, you shouldn't boast about watching free streams and not paying for them. We all know that this is illegal. I may also watch a free stream (mainly b/c I don't have money to buy a PPV), but won't brag about it...

Either way. I'll be watching UFC then taking a nap and moving onto seeing the M-1 card. The M-1 cards are usually exciting, plus, I like the use of the ring. The ring to me is a whole different fight.

    Hmmm,

Brock, Overeem, Carwin, Bigfoot Silva.... you're so right, there just aren't any HW's around 300. LOL. You need to take the LSAT and get to Yale Law School immediately with such an intellect. OMG. Thanks for the laugh!

Russia is a huge market and Fedor is a superstar there. No need to worry about who will buy the PPV.
