M-1 Challenge 31: Monson vs. Oleinik, A. Emelianenko vs. Rimkevicius Weigh-In Results
Posted on March 15, 2012, 01:17 PM by Anton GurevichM-1 Challenge: Jeff Monson vs. Alexey Oleinik weigh-ins took place in St. Petersburg, Russia, ahead of tomorrow's stacked M-1 Challenge 31 fight card. The event will also feature the Heavyweight collision between Alexander Emelianenko and Tadas Rimkevicius, Enomoto vs. Magomedov, as well as the Welterweight scrap between Shamil Zavurov and Alexander "Bad Boy" Yakovlev.
Here's what Oleinik said about his "golden opportunity" to impress against Jeff Monson (via M-1Global.com): “I don’t see any weaknesses in Monson’s game. It’s almost impossible to outgrapple him or to knock him out. I think, we are going to have very good fight, where we both will show everything that we are capable of. Jeff is very experienced fighter, so it’s very hard to surprise him by anything. I got a few gameplans in my mind, the other question is if it will be possible to execute them. It’s going to be like chess match in MMA”

I have Alexander and Monson both coming out victorious. Fairly easy pick. Rimkivkcius looks a bit too soft in the core, but we will see.
