Frank Shamrock responds to Dana White's "Irrelevant Idiot" comments
Posted on October 25, 2010, 11:50 AM by Jamie KennedyIn light of Dana White's recent comments about Frank Shamrock, "the Legend" decided to hit back at the UFC President. Here's what he had to say, through an official statement released to the media:
"Wow and false, is all I can say about Dana's comments, that I am a two faced liar and further, what a bully and a terrible example of combat sports meets corporate America. We parted (after our recent meeting) with nothing more than a clear understanding of our different views and brands"
Shamrock then adressed White's comments on AOL's Fanhouse:
"Dana's recent comments on AOL are ridiculous and insulting and I am sad to see them associated with our sport. We will never be sport or art for that matter, until we are free to speak our hearts and minds. I was being genuinely honest about my beliefs and dreams and did not attack, insult, curse or become angry with him in any way. And yet in return I was attacked, ridiculed, and bullied and finally my character questioned publically.
My comments in response to Mr. White's insulting tirade is that mixed martial arts breeds confidence, builds character and creates strong diverse communities whose foundation is honour, respect and discipline and Dana White I refuse to be bullied by you and further, I respect a man who truthfully stands up and fights for his family with honour"
Frank then added he'd be obliged to give Dana a Shamrock MMA lesson:
"Any time you want to become a real man and not a bully, you let me know. I would be happy to oblige with you a personal introduction to Shamrock MMA"
Some strong words from Mr. Shamrock. So what do you think, LowKick'ers, who's "bad" and "good" in this story?

Well if Shamrock is not allowed to punch him in the face for what Dana said, Dana should not be allow to run his mouth the way he did... It is really easy to talk but it takes seious balls to get ina ring/cage...
yeah Dana is a bully but with power and money, hes a coward

this article is just an excuse for people to hate on dana....most of the guys commenting on this thread probably dont know who frank shamrock is, but if hes insulting dana then they support him fully
Dana is mad because he tried to get at Frank during the meeting and Frank blew Dana off calling him a HOMO! LOL!
If you do not know who Shamrock is you do not know MMA beginings, you are just another UFC follower not a real fan...
dana will never step into the cage... he didnt want to do it with amateur ( Tom Atencio) no way he will do it with pro like shamrock.. even if hes old and washed up
Lmao, why the hell would Dana ever step in a cage? Because someone challenged him? Dana rarely holds back when being asked his opinions of people, especially when they are not associated with the UFC. Does that make him wrong? Well it depends on what really went down in that meeting and between Dana and Frank, which we don't know. I personally like seeing a politcally incorrect unorthodox guy running a politically incorrect and unorthodox sport.
In short Dana is a pussy
White could not be more of a corporate fascist if he tried. He underpays the guys who put their lives on the line and engineers classic corporate mobbing of anyone who gets in his way. He is as unorthodox as an investment banker.
Underpaid??, i once thought that he did, but untill i saw strikforces payouts for there fighters, UFC is paying alot better!!

Listening to Dana the Mouth White opine endlessly about the gifts and qualities of guys who have actually stepped in the ring makes me sick. He is a turd who holds the purse strings, a bully boss who runs his fighters according to the Good Corporate Fascist Playbook. Frank has earned the right a thousand fold to comment on fighters talents and mindset and I support his take on this far more than that power hungry creep White.
all non fighters need to stay in their place and dont talk about nobody that can kick your ass unless they talk trash first then you can hide behind your lawyers and your pistols if dana white doesn't stop one day he is going to need them and the whole MMA community will say I knew that was going to happen
frank shamrock is a two faced prick, if anyone saw the interview when he went to both camps of the cung le vs scott smith showdown, you'll know why he is a two faced prick, shamrock brothers are pricks anyway done and dusted, Frank not even a good commentator too.

The whole bad mouthing of Shamrock was really low class. I dont know what has gone one between those guys, but its super unprofessional to talk like that.
