It's a shame the road that the G.O.A.T is taking, pretty disappointing.

Glad to see Fedor back in action. Pedro Rizzo isnt that good , but still better than the Gracie...

Also you could tell that the translator was scared and intimidated by the charisma of Fedor

you can see it in fedors eyes while anwsering questions about the ufc he doesent want to insult them or come off as dissappointed but i truly believe he does have his regrets after all he is a human being, i think if he got the chance to go back to a time where he could've gone he would've but hey look what happened he has no one to blame but himself. I do believe he is still one of the best hw's out there and he should do w/e it takes to get into the ufc and prove that fact but undoubtedly he is in my opinion the second greatest fighter of all time next to the great Anderson silva

The only relevant fighter out of the UFC that Fedor should fight is Kharitonov. But I believe I can understand M-1 rationale behind arranging these not-so-worthy fights for the Emperor. They want to build him back up after 3 devastating and perhaps demoralizing losses to good competition. Fedor doesn't really have many years left in him to reclaim his Pride domination; if he's really serious about fighting the best, I'm sure Dana will grant him this chance...If however, he's content with his accomplishments, he can busy himself with these less challenging fights...

They should be trying their hardest to get a fight with Kharitonov, that would be a great fight and a high level opponent.

Even fighting someone like Todd Duffee, or one of the HWs from Bellator would be another good option for him, at least the opponent would be more credible... This type of fight with Rizzo, would be relevant about 7 years ago....

Here we go again, another bad matchup by fedor and M1, got to agree that i don't see any good heavyweights outside ufc, but that doesn't make this fight look any better.

A win that nobody cares about or an very embarrissing defeat for fedor.

My perdiction, bomb's flying, takedown and than A: submission, B: ground and pound. (W fedor, doesn't take much mma insight, does it)

Rizzo very good fighter, but since kharitonov bullied him in pride, he wasn't in the top anymore, rizzo didn't last in the mma evolution since 2005 !

I think he'd still be top 5 or 6 in the UFC. Mir is about to fight for the title. I reckon Fedor could still knock Mir out, and more than hang with him on the ground.

I believe he's just a simple fighter from a small town who let people he shouldn't have manage his affairs.

It's a shame cos he seems like a good guy. Everyone else in the world can see that M-1 have expoited him throughout his career. Can't wait to see what they do when he retires. Hope that ballbag Evgeni Kogan is out of a job!

He kinda reminds me of Mike Tyson in a way, only much nicer. Tyson made a lot of stupid decisions both with his career and his money, but his management didn't try to steer him in the right direction. But how much blame could you really put on Tyson when he only had a 7th grade education. On the surface, Fedor seems smarter than that. I think there's more than bad decision making that makes him keep his management.

I don't get it, every Fedor nuthugger says that Fedor is M-1 Global and they go by what he wants. So what is it? Who's screwing who here? Fedor needs to pull his ass or M-1's ass off someones shoulders, milk UFC for what they can get and show and prove! Simple...

    @Cranestyle

If you had trained with Dan Severn you would know that he's no joke!!!!

    -But I take your point.

My 2 questions for you Cranestyle, who would win in a fight, between a Shamrock/ Severn tag team V's Fedor???

Last question; Who would win in a team match up between Kung Fu Panda and his friends against the Teeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

Ps, Don't forget that the Turtles are heroes in a half shell!

Hehe. Fedor would probably beat a Ken Shamrock/Dan Severn tag team but have more trouble with a Dan Severn/Shamrock shake match up.

Panda and Co. would be dead even with the Turtles, it would be back and forth, until a enemy they could unite against would come along. Who would win, the film distributors.

Fedor with all do respect, this is ridiculous and it's a shame to your legacy. No disrespect to Pedro Rizzo but he is at least 10 year's past his prime. You can find better competition any where else, Rizzo's health is a concern especially if you knock him out. Don't you care about his life and what that would do to Pedro Rizzo.

English translation from above: Dear fans of Fedor! What would you like to see? Top fighters all signed. So we have to choose the best of the worst. But the battle of the Theodore you can watch and when they met with any foe. Especially since it became known that Fedor is not a terminator or a robot, and each tries to defeat him. Tyson lost the first time anyone? Nobody remembers his name? So here I am, and about the same.

Think of all the match ups we missed with fedor, he was injured at the end of pride (didn't compete in the open weight championship) and after pride hhmmm, lindland, hong man.

Even if he had lost some in the ufc, he would be very entertaining, a fan favorite and be in the mix, talent wise fedor should be in the ufc after pride, for sure he would blast a lot of ufc heavy's.

M1 and fedor been clouding his career for years.

Fedor should have been training with and competing with the top of the world, it's an everlasting shame, they made a lot of money but tarnished his career.

They could have made the money and fight the best !

His legacy isn't tarnished. Only true loss is that the fans missed some good match ups. He is not in the ufc, he only has a few good opponents available. He is one of the most decorated fighters in the history of MMA not including Judo and Sambo. Everybody has their time, Fedor had 10 years in the best organization at the time while UFC was a bush league. I'm just happy to see him fight. On a side note, the people that have beaten Fedor are one or two fights away from a title shot, what does that say? Werdum and Big Foot are very much in the mix at the moment, and look at Hendo, he is fighting for the title. Actions speak louder than words. When Jon loses which he will, everybody is going to say he has been exposed, same for GSP, Silva, Junior you name it. It is just a sport. Things evolve, not necessarily in a better direction it is only natural. In the end, he's a big boy and he seems contempt at his situation.

Fedor just beats up the beer and penut guys in the stands:

Fight announcer: "you over there, guy selling penuts"!

    Vendor: "Me"?

Fight announcer: "Yeah you, wanna me a MMA superstar"?

    Vendor: "SURE"!

Fight announcer: "Its easy just get in here with Fedor and you'll be on your way"

    Vendor: "Umm...OK"?

I'm not sure but i heard it from here that Fedor is a part owner of M-1 Global? if so then it's a smart business deal. Why would people watch M-1 Global? to see Fedor right? Honestly I'm a massive Fedor fan and if Fedor is fighting a nobody and the UFC HW title fight is on the other channel, I would still watch Fedor fight. In saying that I do wish Fedor fight more legit fighters and be added to the UFC I would like to see him get back to the form in his Pride days and even for the Fedor haters they would also love to see that (admit it you want to see Fedor at his dominating best ADMIT IT!!!!). BUT sadly I think the MMA world has passed Fedor by, with the constant evolution/revolution of MMA a fighter successful a few years ago that did not evolve his fighting style will have no chance with the fighter of today's quality.
