Only pure 205 fighters are included in the list. Anderson Silva (no matter how good he is), has only two fights in 205.

more people have the opportunity to watch Strikeforce then UFC. Personally I tend to agree esp after Lyoto's fight with Shogun, my ranking used to be, Loyoto, Shogun, Mousashi, now its reversed.



But really why is Sobral on that list?

Well when you see Mousashi fight you understand that he is one of those really rare great fighters. He beat Jacare btw, who for some strange reason isn't on the list.

surely its gotta be moussasi? excluding shogun and machida, hes got more talent than the rest combined, plus hes only 24

I agree that while Mousasi is a good fighter, he hasnt had a real test. He'd be a good addition to the UFC's light heavy's .

Jacare was top 5 when Mousasi beat him, also Jacare should be on this list instead of Sobral.

Lyoto is going to win the rematch against Shogun. He's won more fights against legit fighters in the UFC. Shogun lost to Forrest Griffin. I do think that he won the first fight against Lyoto but it definitely wasn't definitive victory plus Lyoto came into that fight with an injury.

He came into the fight with 1 and left with 2. I think Shogun had ring rust vs Forrest and clearly won the first lyoto fight.

machidas better than shogun, he fought well but didnt nick the win...machida willl learn from that and i think beat him convincgly at 113...as for the rest, forrests a hillbilly, rashad has no chin, i dunno enough about mousasi to judge but its like fedor, ppl can claim hes great all they want but unless you come to the ufc and prove it then your not in my opinion...i think rampage is a dark horse and would love to see him get a shot at machida....surprised bones jones didnt get a mention

if you want to be the best you have to fight the best, and ufc currently has the best i think...ppl do seem to rate him doh so id love to see him fight

Shogun was always the Champ at LHW. If it wasn't for injuries the LHW division would be the same as the WH and LW divisions with 1 guy dominating it.
