Ahhhhh ! Here is My Man ! Fedor Emelianenko !!!!

Fedor will prove once again that he is the No 1 Fighter in the world by defeating Ishii.

Fedor will also prove that Hendo , Werdum and Big foot just got lucky cause he is still the best.

what does Fedor beating a guy that fights a 205 with a MMA record of 4-1-1 prove exactly?

Ishii is Judo gold medalist ,and I he trains at the black house gym. he is not a beginner. It is a big challenge for Fedor and for anyone in MMA.

Nothing really. Fedor fans love his fights regardless. Anything wrong with that? No-one is insulting the UFC by saying Fedor is the "best" any longer...

There are plenty of Judo gold medalists in MMA, plenty of guys who train at excellent gyms, but there are not plenty of them who had success in MMA.

Fedor would have greater chances to prove he's still that good by defeating big names.

@jdnextchamp Which he can't do at the moment because they are all under the Zuffa banner.

I'm curious- why doesn't Fedor just set everyone straight if he's the best by signing the UFC and cleaning out the Zuffa HW division? He's made plenty of money, right? Now he can put his honor on the line and take out JDS, Velasquez, Brock, Overroid and Bigfoot. Is money really the issue?

There was a time back in the Pride days where the best fighters came from Japan. Now, it seems that's where you go when you can't succeed in America. Zuffa has so much power that they basically have their pick of the top guys. Aoki came to the UFC and got destroyed by Gilbert- and back he went. Same with Akiyama when he got beaten by Leben. Chances are, if you're fighting in Japan, you're there for a reason.

At the time that he could, there was some kind of personality conflict that got in the way. Basically, the two sides didn't trust eachother and no one would compromise. Now Zuffa won't touch Fedor with a ten foot pole. He is tainted by his losses and if he were to go on a huge win streak in the UFC it would hurt the brand.

The Japanese Bruce Buffer might have just ousted Silva for the world's biggest jaw.

I'm old enough to actually remember Antonio Inoki and his fight against Muhammed Ali. Inoki layed on his back for most of the fight and invited Ali to join him there.

    Now I'm depressed.
