Bellator 59 will take place on Saturday night live from Caesars Atlantic City. The event will feature two tournament finals as well as a former UFC fighter coming out of a fairly short retirement.
The Heavyweight tournament finale will feature Eric Prindle facing Thiago Santos. The winner of the bout will receive a check for $100,000 and a date to face Bellator Heavyweight champion Cole Konrad.
The Bantamweight competitors Eduardo Dantas and Alexis Vila have the same $100,000 on the line. The winner will receive that check and a shot at Bellator Bantamweight champion Zach Makovsky.
Kurt Pellegrino will make his return to the cage on Saturday night. Pellegrino had said he was leaving MMA after his loss to Gleison Tibau in March at UFC 128. Obviously Pellegrino had a change of heart and he will not get an easy fight in his return as he will face Patricky Freire at Bellator 59.
The main card of the event will be broadcast on MTV2 on Saturday, November 26 at 9:00 p.m. ET. The preliminary card will be streamed on Spike.com at 7:00 p.m ET.
