Bellator 54 delivered an action packed line-up tonight from the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Russian striker Alexander Shlemenko scored a dramatic second-round TKO victory over Brian Rogers in the headlining bout, while Vitor Vianna stopped Brian Baker just 54-seconds into the co-main event. Bantamweight Champion Zach Makovsky looked impressive, submitting Ryan Roberts with a perfectly executed north/south choke and promotional newcomer Jacob Kirwan upset previously undefeated Lightweight Rene Nazare in the main card opener.
Both Shlemenko and Vianna will now advance to the final round of the Season 5 Middleweight Tournament, where they will meet at Bellator 58 for a chance to claim the $100,000 cash prize and a shot at division Champion Hector Lombard.
Bellator 54 Main Card Results:
• Shlemenko defeated Rogers via TKO (knees) at 2:30 of round 2
• Vianna defeated Baker via TKO (punches) at 0:54 of round 1
• Makovsky defeated Roberts via submission (north/south choke) at 4:48 of round 1
• Kirwan defeated Nazare via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)

I realise it would've made no difference but I think the kick Vitor Vianna threw was illegal due to the downed opponent
it was to the stomach.
I hope that shlmenko beats vianna cause i think he has best chance to beat hector lombard(at least come the closest). vianna would get ko'd quick IMO.
